Thank God I was rejected a visa to Canada. I’m a Muslim and glad I didn’t get to Canada. Living in a non-Muslim country where far-rights extremists can harm your women is just doesn’t feel safe at all. P.S. I have lived in UAE for about 7 years and no non-Muslim individual got attacked by Muslims. Non-muslims live and work in Muslim countries peacefully whereas Muslims in non-Muslims countries live in danger on a daily basis.

People are nicer, friendlier and lower crime rate too compared to GTA (Greater Toronto Area). However meat choices are a bit difficult to come by. Pretty much, everyone just minds their own business

I think Muslims should become more rational-contextual Muslims than mere textual ones. When companion was threatened physically and force to say that Allah is not God, and Muhammad PBUH is not prophet, the companion said so.. Later he discussed his what he did to the prophet, and the prophet said that what he did was right as Islam values life (survival) more than mere verbal faith declaration (of course the companion still believed that Islam is the truth in his heart). Using the same logic, if their life is threatened, Muslimah should just get away from the threatening situation as soon as possible and put off their hijab the time being (if they view such actions can save their life).
