lol, “why are we talking about hair?” 😂 she did it again 😂 but it’s a real issue. We have to pretend as if we are hairless apart from our heads, eyebrows and eyelashes. I don’t think they understand how hard it is to keep up with this lie. 😂 Thanks for taking the time out to read out my comment. woop woop! one thing to add guys: never, ever, ever criticise your spouse by making a comparison to another woman/man. Trust me that is so hurtful and you never forget the feeling. I know from experience!
@nerdyswagninja6 жыл бұрын
Rose Tinted House factssssss I feel like a lot of men are in for a huge WAKEUP CALL if they didn't grow up around women that were open about talking about body hair or periods etc..like once you're married you learn the real stuff lmao
@toibatbankole.91446 жыл бұрын
Just to add another point on how to give constructive criticism. I attended a tafsir of surah tahreem, and one of the lessons I got from there is how to advice people, which can also be applied here. So the structure is (praise + mention the fault + praise). For example if the wife doesn't clean up after cooking, the hubby can criticize/ advice her by saying "honey, the food you cook are always delicious (praise), however you may like to clean the hob immediately after cooking just to make the kitchen look cleaner (fault), and you know what, I don't think anyone cooks as good as you, and I'm sure if you open a restaurant you will get loads of costumers (praise). My example is not that great but I hope you get the point InShaAllah. btw I loveeeee your videos. May Allah bless you both and strengthen the love between you and bless your marriage

just started this series! subhanallah the recitation brought me to tears and i love you guys. one thing i will say is i believe in being direct to your spouse more than indirect. not rude but direct so everything is clear. Also, arguing is sometimes healthy for a marriage because part of life is problems and solutions. the problem with arguing is when it becomes too aggressive or no solution
@HenniiDM6 жыл бұрын
First off I love your videos. Second you guys said in the beginning there wasn’t much communication, how did you guys get to this point where y’all not only finish each other’s sentences but build on each other’s thoughts? Y’all appear to be best friends.

Thank you Qamara for always bringing up issues/insecurities of a lot of women out here! It’s always funny to see Ameer being surprised why you always ‘bring up’ certain stuff and I’m over here like YEAH MAN LET HER SAY THAT, ITS FACTS! Keep making videos btw, lots of love and support from germany! 💕 may allah bless your marriage!

Asalaamu Alaykum! I love you guys together and Marriage Mondays especially since I'm really entertaining the idea. The two things that's holding me back is being in college and him being in my home state. Also, I'm trying to work on myself and some insecurities so I won't go into the marriage with a who;e bunch of personal baggage that might be a strain. So maybe you can discuss preparation of self before marriage or your thoughts on being apart from your spouse. P.S. I would love to see more vlogs from you guys or maybe have guests like your sisters and their husbands to hear their views on marriage. May Allah(SWT) continue to bless your marriage and grant you guys much more success and happiness. Ameen!

Possible topics on: -The importance of compromising in marriage and what is meant by that -problems within the marriage, should we go and talk about it with family and friends - how to deal with arguing with your spouse -is it possible to be in different religions and have a good marriage - is love enough in a marriage? Some may say that marriage is like a business transaction. Whats your thoughts? Hopefully this helped for next week. Great video Q&A!!
@aishahd33176 жыл бұрын
JAK for another great video! For the next video how about how to build good communication in marriage. Also on not being brutally honest, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think there's a hadith that speaks to that by saying that a situation when it is permissible to lie is when talking to one's spouse as in exaggerating about their good qualities or something like that.

Every thing has its reason. When you are single now, its the best thing that could happen to you now. Once you get married you would wish that certain things would be like when you were single. So stop being desperate and just enjoy life and every single moment of it. God can actually punish you with a marriage, because you were so impatiently waiting to get married and forcing it to happen. Marriage has no age, just trust in God‘s plan and you will be happy your whole life even without marriage, because no one actually knows if God has planed for him/her to get married and then you spend all your precious life worrying and being desperate. That is not how you should spend your life.
