Is NVR and IPC displayed separate on SADP tool? System with 2 cameras working ok but I changed NVR password and now will not recognise (says camera is locked or user name or password is wrong) one of the cameras. I done IPC reset button method and worked for G1 ColourVu but won’t work with 4a25FWD-IZHS. I will try this. Simple to follow, cool vid!

On the same tool you can see. Power off the camera for some time and switch on, then device will unlock. If you enter wrong password again. Device will lock again.

You can switch off the device for 5 to 10 mins. no need to switch off long time

Amigo espero me ayudes tengo un DVR epcom s16 el problema es que, al configurar el DVR o apagar o reiniciar la contraseña ya no me deja entrar, ya e mandado 5 veses a hikvision soporte, para que me restaure mi contraseña con el archivo XML, se restablece pero al apagar el DVR ya lo puedo entrar con la nueva contraseña, y ya lo echo 5 veses restableciendo la contraseña con hikvision soporte cuál podría ser el problema? Agradecería tu ayuda

good night a question my dvr gives me date 1980-04-02 and it is a turbo hd of 16 channels I made the method and I generated a code but it is not valid if I take out and format the disk as new loses the password or it stays the same thanks

Add ip address manually to your PC.. You have to add same series IP address to DVR and pc.. Then only device will show in tool..
