Nakamura is playing defensively despite playing with the white piece . Even if you are Nakamura, playing against Kasparov is nerve-racking.

Después de cierta cantidad de movimientos, cada jugador tiene 10 segundos de incremento, esto puede variar en los diferentes modos de ajedrez que hay (rapid, blitz, bala) y imagino que los tiempos que se ven están mal alineados en relación al cronometro y por eso se ve descoordinado

Must have been playing for a blunder. Once the bishop covered the queening square (h8), positionally there is no win, just a draw.

Around 22:25 Kasparov could've sacrified his white bishop for the pawn then moved the tower to white square to block the pawn and move the queen to get the pawn that took the bishop. The whites would be in pretty bad shape. On the other hand, Nakamura almost doubled Kasparov's time. He let the match go. How can it be possible at this level ?

It is not possible to checkmate a lone king with a king and a knight, hence a draw.

Nakamura honestly could have flagged him. he was in time trouble. He decided to grant the draw when he pushed pawn instead of winning on a flag.

knight on g7 is not enough for Hikaru. He needs knight there but how he can push away the black king? Garry will keep the king between e7 and f8, rendering knight on g7 useless. If Hikaru could squeeze his king to f7 and then g8 but I think Garry is pretty good chess player to allow that

@@alexandrehuard-boudreau a. Game is 7 year old so it is hard to say if engine is today's or from that time b. depth is unknown c. end game so the depth may be a limiting factor d. advantage is minuscule This position imho is unwinnable engine against engine, or Hikaru vs. Garry.

У Каспарова была позиция все время сильнее. Такое ощущение, что он намеренно свел партию на ничью. Я не понял, почему он не выиграл пешку с разменом ладей. Я глупый, он умный. Но партию, то сдал фактически. Якобы ничья.
