So satisfying, it feels like watching my own routine. 10/10 recommend! The only thing I kinda add to this is not just checking the As but also the break lines for knots/sticks/etc. And also clearing the wing tips.

Hey thanks for these additions! I should have included those two points in the video!

Thanks for the tips. Will be great if you make the a video how you chose the place to launch depending the mountain/weather. :D
@peakandfly Жыл бұрын
Youre welcome! That's right, but if you are honest and want to choose completely freely and then do the whole thing conscientiously, reliably and legally, it's also a pretty complex topic that is difficult to squeeze into a video. Among other things, this will be the content of my workshops and will also take up some time there. Maybe I will touch on some parts of it in future tutorials.;)

Do you think a wind meter is worth to invest? Which type do you use? Thx
@peakandfly Жыл бұрын
Nice to hear :) absolutely! In the beginning I was told that its not worth it because when you get better you will have a better sense how much wind there is... but thats not true! You will need a wind meter to compare your feeling with the reality and get better this way. I often need it for Soaring Sites, too. I use this one and can recommend it ;) amzn.to/3fUsEmV

Thanks!! Very nice videos. Do you have a list of the equipment you are using available?

Hey, no, not really, some of the things we use are in the video description. Maybe we will make a video about the different setups and recommend equipment in the future! ;)

@@peakandfly I prepare everything very neatly at home and only lay out the glider at the launch site. First about 1/3 then I hang myself in the harness and start. It feels better to me that way. I also always hook in for a forward launch, although I mostly do a reverse launch. I don't know if it's any better that way, at least it's always gone well so far.

@peakandfly Жыл бұрын

Good video. Just a small English tip: Use the word "launch" instead of "start".
