@@ConnecticutBackcountry I need to plan lol I am thinking something a bit out of the way. Biggest issue is 0 gear at the moment. My last overnight hike was a long ass time ago when a poncho was enough of a tent. These days I am a sucker for creature comforts lol

It's good to see you again my friend 💯🇺🇸 LoL. You had some great weather along the way eh? LoL. But, you sure had some beautiful scenery!!!! The latter part of the trail looked like a real butt kicker. I was surprised to see so many people when you got up there. Great turnout for a great cause.💯🇺🇸. Wishing you a great my friend 💯

Jon, hi! Yeah, it wasn’t that bad but I was huffing and puffing in the middle a bit but you would have some hustle if you saw what was following me (Allen) lol.

Okay, now that's a great bit of tidbit information...who knew that Mount Washington was the home of the worst weather! Also, never knew about chaga either and even seen some in our area the other day...I can see that it is quite the climb, but can you imagine the effort it took to put in them stone stairs! Impressive! Did all those people hike up? Such a great cause and share...make sure to have a rewarding wonderful weekend! Bruce and Otis

Hey there Bruce, no most of the people in line had drove up but there was quite the turn out of hikers for sure! Those stone stairs were drilled and split off, assuming my by hand as it would be a feat of nearly inhuman ability to get hydraulics up there and it wasn’t just one or two stairs! Chaga is one of those super fungi, good for whatever ails ya but be sure to harvest responsibly as it takes forever to grow back. Be sure to give Otis a Pat for me. ATB, Gary.

“I haven’t had coffee. What do you want from me?” Only good reply…. “Al all that I want is That you open a can of coffee and not a can of whoop A>>.” Thanks for another video. It’s cool to see these places as I cannot get to the mountains too often recently. My hikes involve some dogs and my neighborhood but that time outdoors and moving is refreshing to the soul. May all your journeys be adventures and your havens safe

We don’t get to the mountains too often or often enough in our opinion either John, unfortunately but like you, we got out into the neighborhood often! Hope all is well and Allen had to make do with instant lol no cans of coffee. All the best my friend.

So you drove up and then you hiked up? Should've hit the cog and gotten the hat trick! I liked the shot of all the people coming up behind you on Tucks and the shot where the clouds suddenly begin.

Lol, actually thought about it but wasn’t too sure about where the cog lets off. Those clouds were cool, have seen some cool cloud formations up there. Thanks for popping by Seth! All the best, Gary.
