This is one of your best videos and you are getting really good at creating stories and not just showing video footage of your travels. You are inspiring a 55 year old guy from Canada with your insight and journeys. You are figuring things out early on in your life that have taken me many more decades. Keep up the great work and keep telling these stories. They do make an impact.

If you'd had the time with connecting ferries you could have gone on the little ferry to Kierra and camped there thus bashing out another Scottish island.Kierra had very nice dry composting toilets a few years ago.The Kierra ferry goes about 3km south of Oban. You also have Lismore too but it's a longer trip but I suppose not when you take in the walk to the Kierra ferry.

A few years ago I took my caravan over to North Uist and stayed on a caravan site next to a great beach for a month. Balranold was the area, on my list of places to revisit next time I am back in the UK. When I was there, it was June 2016 and the temperature was mid 20s most of the month and almost no rain.

@@GirlOutdoors Went on the car ferry from Eriskay to Barra for a day, dolphins swimming alongside the ferry. Visited the castle in Castlebay, great afternoon tea outside the post office and visited the airport cafe. Drove as far as could go to Vatersay and saw the WWII plane wreck at the side of the road.

Oddly enough, when I tried to create myself, I was quickly reminded that I may only CO-CREATE myself. Something else much larger, beyond myself, and my known Universe is the Director, Author, and Creator of this brief earth walk. The editing, music and dance that follows is none of my business, soooo then raise that curtain. Awesome show of the Hebridean Way. Co-Edited and Co-Directed by Becky. Cheers! You make a great Hollywood Team. !!

It's so great that this video popped up in my feed as I was in the Outer Hebrides at the beginning of June cycling the Hebridean Way. I actually got quite sunburned on the first few days even with suncream which I wasn't expecting. It was so sunny! Also we struggled to find places to get water too. I'd definitely recommend getting some bike bags although I'd recommend the soft bags like the ones Apidura make rather than panniers.

This already has me wanting to see more ... .. imagine that ,, going a full circle in your active lifestyle and back on a bike ,,but bagged down and travelling on wheels ... Are you now using an editor?? New camera ?? .. Video is top shelf beautiful ... .. As here in the hotter climates of the U.S. ,, over the past few years hydration bags and trail umbrellas have become a norm .. Now you're aware of conditions ,,be sure to pick up sunsceen and extra water containers ... it must be brutal hiking in full outer wear ... ... looking forward to travels ahead .. .....Stay Safe and God Bless .....

Lovely route and great vid as always, wondered if you would brave the beach landing on the plane! Surprised if the guide book doesn't mention that the weather can be like that though, I've spent a lot of time on Islay and because the islands are so far out they catch the gulf stream so the weather can be absolutely spectacular, and at times you wouldn't expect as well - I've seen it like that (although a lot colder) on Islay in February.
