Wow, you are a natural-born hiker! Your first backpacking trip was so much more adventurous than most. Great job and thanks for posting!

So many routes and so little time. Your films never fail to impress Lyubo and considering this has been on the back burner for some years, it's still a quality production. Thanks for your content style and continuing inspiration. Keep safe.

Hey Lyubo, love your videos! You actually inspired me to get my first camera to record my own adventures, which I'm doing right now in Madeira and I believe I passed you today at the caldeirão verde. We were going the opposite direction and it took a few seconds to realize it was you, otherwise would have said hi! Are you shooting videos in Madeira? If so, looking forward to see it. Take care and keep inspiring people to go on adventures! Greetings, Antoon

Well, I guess this trauma of your friend somehow predestined your love for solo trekking. 🙂 Quite a serious route for a first multi-day camping trip in the mountains! You did a great job though. Thanks for sharing this special experience with us. ❤

@luboyanev6 ай бұрын
Thank you! And yes, I did have two gpx tracks as well as the guidebook, and I would definitely recommend having the gpx tracks as there are so many trails and junctions, and when I hiked not always was it marked as Walkers haute route. Happy hiking!

Would u ever consider doing Alta via 2? Looks like a challenging but beautiful route :)
@luboyanev6 ай бұрын
I was actually about to attempt to do it a few years ago :) I don't know if you saw I have a video from the Alta Vía 1 on the channel, and my plan was to do AV1 going north and then the AV2 going south.. but as you may have seen I had some trouble on the AV1 and decided end the trip after finishing it.. But yes, I think going through some via ferratas would be fun :) Have you done it, or do you consider doing it?
@euanupton61006 ай бұрын
@@luboyanevah that sounds lovely! Yes I loved that video, it got me and my group to do Alta via 1 last year, I’m planning to do AV2 next summer, the via ferrata up mt marmolada seems too good of a challenge to miss :)
@luboyanev18 сағат бұрын
@@euanupton6100 Yes, the Alta Via 2, definitely seemed more of remote trail compared to the AV1. Did you get the chance to do the AV2? From my experience I think the AV1 was pretty crowded..

Is it normal that the ski cabin is open?
@luboyanev6 ай бұрын
That's a very good question, but I don't know the answer, maybe I was lucky that one time.. it was a pleasant surprise, but I also had the tent with me.. Being new to camping back in 2018 (and often times to this day) it would take me a pretty long time to pack everything up and start hiking, and not having to pack and dry the tent saved quite some time.. Happy hiking!

Hey, i was wondering if you could compare the haute route and the gr20? I hiked the gr 20 last summer, and had a great time, was thinking about the haute route, and was wondering how you would compare them in difficulty and general experience?
@luboyanev18 сағат бұрын
Hey, thank you for the comment! To be honest I had quite a different gear for both hikes, so for me the Haute Route seemed much more slow and heavier on the shoulders from what I remember :D Hiking it now would be a much more pleasant experience probably. The Haute Route had quite a few long ascends and descends as it goes from one deep valley to the next, and despite the long steep parts it didn't really have the more technical sections that the GR20 had. Overall, both great hikes, seeing Mont Blanc and Matterhorn was pretty special on the Haute Route
