NICE video!! Those "pyramids" cairns are prohibited by Federal law to protect Wilderness areas! They spoil the pristine landscapes!!!

Thanks for the info, I was not aware of that. Epic video as always! In your opinion, is the alta via harder than the gr20?

Hey, thank you! I would say the GR20 is significantly harder. I guess if I had done the GR20 a little slower and during the hiking season where all the huts are open, the GR20 might have been easier.. But both are very doable, and very very beautiful. If I had to choose one over the other, I think I would choose the GR20.

Your thru-hiking videos are amazing! So crisp, so beautiful, so peaceful. Only, the music distracts from the beauty and makes it really difficult for me to understand the information you give about your hike, which I love btw, the way you comment your experience. Just find myself keeping wishing the background music wasn’t there, so I can stay focused on the cinematic beauty and the info journal of your videos..Thank you for taking the time to document, edit, and share your videos on youtube!! there are bears in Old Mountain(Balkan Mountain) and Rhodopa Mountain but usually they avoid people!
