so much respect to you for completing this. as someone who doesn't like hiking, but will for a view (😅), this was a test of endurance as well, and you soared. i, without question, would have failed! so thanks for sharing your journey with us and beautiful storytelling as usual 🙌🏽

Great video... For your toes, check out alternate ways to tie your shoes (this can make a massive difference) and using hiking poles can save your legs/toes a lot on descents. Beautifully shot and well done!

Thanks for sharing this experience. I stumbled upon your channel looking for hikes in the Catskills that bi-lateral amputees had done (not many channels). I have heard of this path, and would loved to have done it, however, watching the descends I think I need a little more training. I look forward to catching up on your channel, and following your adventures.

This video was outstanding. The out and backs for the camera alone are alotta work. I live there, I walk with audio books playing in my head and have never said hey bear once. Our bears are skittish and run away before you see them. It’s rare to steal a glimpse :) where you able to secure a drone permit? I’ve tried a bunch and always get refused. I loved the drone footage and it gives a great perspective. I’m just not willing to pay the $5k fine. Also if you return you missed some banging film opportunities, let me know next time I’ll point you in the direction. Again. Great video. “This is the last climb” (then St Anne’s Peak laughs at you)

Me and my friend tried this trail once. We had to bail out at the 13 mile point. My leg muscles were seizing up sleeping pad popped and my buddy ran out of food. Going to try again this year. Feeling confident this time just did the VTLT this year solo.
