Hiking 400+ Miles Across Iceland 5 - Pushing to The End
In July of 2021, me and my good friend Cheesebeard set off on our traverse of Iceland, from the North-West corner of Iceland hiking on foot all the way down to the South coast. This is video five in my hiking vlog from the trip. I hope you enjoy the journey.

About:
I am Paul "Pie" Ingram. I am a hiker and filmmaker from the UK that's living in Finland and hiking all over the world. Pieonthetrail is all about sharing my hiking films, reviewing gear, and sharing tips and tricks. In 2015 I Thru-Hiked the 2189-mile Appalachian Trail; in 2017, I finished the 2700-mile Continental Divide Trail (CDT). I've also hiked:
- The Annapurna Circuit in Nepal
- 400+ miles on the high routes in California's Sierra Nevada
- 400+ miles crossing Iceland from NW to S
- My current project, "seasonslostfilm," has me hiking the East Highland Way in Scotland in January and again in June.

Seeing you guys get to that magic cabin; I felt the luxury. After nature pissing on you for days. You guys look hearty, healthy. Keep buggering on.

Legends! Well done. Whoever took the C out of Deep Canal is a legend. Also, I'm wondering if Cheesebeard ought to be renamed Meal2Go Beard..?

With the seemingly endless cold wind, dampness, and rain, at some point did you wish you were able to prepare hot java or cocoa and heat your meals? I realize weight savings are involved, but....brrrr!. Does Cheesebeard have a YT channel? Just discovered your channel and I think it's awesome! Thank you for taking us on your journey.

Epic hike. You have the gift of making even the doldrums look acceptable. Hoping you and cheese beard do gear reviews so we can hear how your tents and other gear performed, considering the weather was so daunting. You two know how to soldier through. Well done guys!

This was grand! The weather was brutal, and probably not a lot of fun.. but in the end it looked to be rewarding. Well done, hope to be able to hike there someday.
