Hiking Angels Landing and The Narrows|| Zion National Park|| Jetset Chronicles ep.01

Visited Springdale, Utah, and hiked the Famous Angels Landing Trail and The Narrows. Had the opportunity to get a quick Cliff Jumping in at Sand Hollow State Park. Come along and enjoy the experience and hopefully you will add Springdale, Utah to your travel list and cross these two trails off the bucket list.
Travel Tips:
1. Fly into Las Vegas instead of Salt Lake City. The ride is 2 hours shorter.
2. There are parking lots/street parking available in Springdale that you can pay for.
3. Springdale has a Free shuttle that will take you to the Visitor Center to board the shuttle that will take you to your Trail Head.
4. Reserve Advance Shuttle Tickets 16th or 31st of the month at 9am MT. Tickets are available the day before as well but I recommend getting them ahead of time. ($1 per person/each day)

5. Angels Landing: STOP 6 "The Grotto"
5 miles round trip- 2miles up until the Chain portion, .5 miles on the chains.
If you are afraid of heights this hike is definitely going to get your heart racing but the VIEWS and experience 10/10. On the chain portion, keep one or two hand contact on the chains at all times, and be cautious and aware of where you are stepping. The most difficult part will be waiting or getting space and maneuvering when there's incoming traffic. Bring plenty of fluids and snacks!
6. The Narrows: Stop 9 "The Temple of Sinawava"
Not needed but I highly recommend renting a package at Zion Outfitters located at the Visitor Center. Very quick process. The package I purchased came with the Water Proof Bib, Socks specifically for the water, Shoes, and Hiking Stick. At the trailhead, it's a 1-mile walk to the water portion. Rocks are slippery and walking against the current can be tough, hiking stick was key for stability on this hike.
7. Other places to hit up, Sand Hollow State Park (45 min away), cliff jumping, and a beach area. Bryce Canyon is also close to Springdale, I was not able to visit Bryce but if you have time in your itinerary I recommend!
