Hiking around Ben Nevis North Face - The CIC hut

A relaxing hike around Ben Nevis to its north face, to see the legendary CIC hut. Starting off in Glen Nevis and heading up the pony track, past the half way lochan and round to the steep cliffs of the north face.
The Charles Ingles Clark memorial hut is a unique and one of a kind place in the UK. Perched high up on the mountain side but still dwarfed by the massive cliffs of Ben Nevis, it endures harsh conditions during the winter.

@@ScottishMountainGoat I hab a 3 minute hole in the clouds. I wish I hadn't it made me wanna come back on a cloudless day 😂 was my first ever backpacking trip WHW and Ben as the end. Loved it came for a second thruhiking of the WHW. Great landscape great people and the weather is epic all the time 😊👍

Followed your route up to the CIC hut on Saturday and headed up to CMD and round to the Ben via arete. My cousin was climbing the same north east face as 5:00 mark. Amazing place
