The dihydrogen monoxide is another way of saying “water” so the joke is that I was just saying that water is going from the mountains into the city. By calling it dihydrogen monoxide it sounds like something serious. Hope you had a laugh from it as I was tricked with this question by a friend from Kazakhstan!

When I visited first time it was 16 October 1994 might be you was 4 years or 5 years because your young age guy. That time in almaty was so many problems even hardly you find bread 🍞. No big shopping molls no restaurants like today. No night life like today. It was a crucial time. But I would say good time. Any how wish you good luck 👍
