@@TheNotLostNomad My memory says, 45 years later, that it still seems pristine. Probably because it is not well known to visitors and the rough road to get there. If you read the book, “Death in Big Bend”, there was a murder there where you parked your vehicle some time ago. Never solved.

Hey thanks man! Yeah i really enjoyed this hike...and those road campsites driving in have some incredible views! I camped at the one closest to the highway and loved it...the Pine canyon ones looked incredible though.
