I’m glad you and Angie made it back safe and that that is gotta be scary with the snake like that
@angiefrantzАй бұрын
So long as we gave it space, it had no interest in us, and we were ok with that.

Nice capture of the Nope Rope. Glad you were safe Sawyer is the best, that’s what I would trust
@angiefrantzАй бұрын
Sawyer company also helps get clean water to areas that otherwise have no means to get safe water, so that's cool. 😊

I love the sound of the water when it’s in streams like that it so relaxing and that water was crystal clear that’s amazing
@angiefrantzАй бұрын
The water is really pretty there, for sure, and very clear!

Makes you wonder how many other snakes you've been near and never even knew. Very cool though.

Right?! We thought the same thing.

Great episode guys, trail looks great and colors are so pleasing to look at!
@angiefrantzАй бұрын
Thanks. The fall colors in the area should really color up within a couple weeks. It's so pretty in the mountains there in the fall. The larches are just beginning to turn yellow now I hear.

What an amazing and beautiful hike and camp...minus the rattlesnake!!! Seeing that snake made my heart race and butt pucker, LOL, I would of pooped my pants and had an anxiety attack if I would of been with you!!!!
@angiefrantzАй бұрын
It wasn't so bad really, and it was beautiful. It had zero interest in wanting to be near us, it just wanted to do it's snake thing, away from us. We were ok with that. 😊

Great Hike and I miss Tiger Summit!!

We've actually not hiked all the trails on Tiger yet. It's pretty there in the fall.

Soooo next time a warning about the rattler!!! Also good thing no Buffy, someone could have spooked the other one possibly.
@angiefrantzАй бұрын
VERY good thing Buffy didn't come along. She'd have gotten but for sure. Buffy had a vacation all of her own at the sitters and got spoiled rotten.

WOW that was one BIG rattler! Were you guys actually able to sleep after that? 😀
@angiefrantzАй бұрын
Yep! Blissfully like babies 😊 it was warm and cozy in the tent and the sound of the creek made it pretty easy to be lulled to sleep.

So when I was way little, probably around the age of like six, and my brother was like 13 we were camping on you and my brother ran over a rattlesnake on his bike accidentally. My sister pointed it out to him, but by the time she pointed it out, he was too close and he just ran over. It scared the crap out of both of them. I only know because when they came back to camp, they told me I wasn’t allowed to go with on that bike ride yet. At that age. Because my parents didn’t let me go too far from the campground then.
@angiefrantzАй бұрын
We're you ok with that after learning why they didn't want you to ride yet?
@halloweenfur8744Ай бұрын
@@angiefrantz yes I I’m good with it. I totally understand now.

Wow, I never knew there were rattlesnakes in Washington. I honestly thought your potentially dangerous animal going to be a raccoon or a tick.
@angiefrantzАй бұрын
I had never seen a rattlesnake in the wild in person until this trip. Was pretty cool! I'm GLAD we didn't see any ticks - they're so gross.
