Worth pointing out that for people less mobile, and those in wheelchairs or with prams etc, the walk around the reservoir is really lovely. It’s dead flat and you can’t get lost👍🏻👍🏻

We were down there last week, staying between Glastonbury and Wells, we walked through the gorge and then on to the reservoir you can see in the distance on your video. That was nice and flat as hubby’s knee was playing up. Day after we did a wookey hole, Ebor gorge, Priddy loop, that was good too. Nice to see cheddar from the top though. Great video.x

Ah Trev brillaint to see you here in Somerset, funny you should call it a mini mountain because we think the same! Often used as a micne pie buring post Christmas walk 🚶♂️❤👍 New there would be a cheesy joke or four in here, nearly had a melt down! 🧀 Love the veiws back down over Cheddar, great isn't it. Often find a sneaky camper up there too 🤫🏕 Nice to explore new places, change is as good as a rest. Not a million miles aways from the highest point of the mendips too! Good feedback on your shoes too, they have served you well 😀 Steep sharpe climbs hey. The stress watch sounds funny lol and stressful in itself! Brilliant video and some cracking footage Trev, thanks for taking us along with you, loved it! Have a great week, Ceri and Kat ☕ ❤ ⛰🤗

Yea, a change of scenery really was as good as a rest. Really enjoyed this one, absolutely stunning. If it wasn't for the view at the end, I kind of wish I'd walked back down via the road... absolutely amazing how tall that gorge seems from beneath! Cheese 🧀 for watching!

A place I often take for granted, Trev, having grown up and still living so close to the gorge. I also forget how much the terrain and landscape changes around such a relatively short walk. Good to see you exploring it and capturing it all well in your usual way. A shame to see so many things are still closed - I went up a couple of times over the summer and I'm sure the tower at least was open. Anyway, hope you have a good week, thanks for sharing and all the best.

I remember going there when I was a kid but did not fully appreciate it then. Shame the show caves were shut, as I do remember those being well worth a visit. That's a long ladder to walk up mind but worth it for the view and I always love a ridge walk, especially with views like that. That watch sounds like it's bad for your health lol, maybe bin it and just have a good time without worry. Cheers Alan

Hi Trev, another inspirational vid. Living in Bristol, we have this on our doorstep, with me and a mate doing the same route as you, although we did it in the reverse to you, so that last decent of yours, was our initial ascent - geeze was that hard with 19kg on my back!!! I have stock footage of this, plus around 5 other outings. I qualify for your shout out, although I've been battling depression, so haven't had the get up and go to publish - I will in the next month I hope. Look forward to your next vid mate. Take care, Rich and Annuschka.

I recorded the video for the shout out today, but lucky for you (not so much for me) the bloody mic didn't work and I have to re-record it, so if you find the post and pop up a small bit about yourself, I will gladly give you and Annuschka a shout out!

Alright trev, looks nice Ill have to visit there.. That watch paired with the Komoot app is brilliant mate. Btw - a good rule of thumb for heartrate is remember 222, take away your age & try not to let your heartrate go above that, so mine would be 222-37=185. So I try and stay under that. 👍
