Hiking Iceland - Laugavegur: Hrafntinnuser to Afltavatn

If I thought the trail to Hrafntinnusker was tough this section beat me down mentally, and by the end, physically. No rain, but battles with snow fields collapsing, heavy wet clouds making everything damp, many falls and some brutal down-hills. Eventually we got to Alftavatn and got the tent set up; but the only thing I wanted to do at that point was sleep...and so we did!
