You made me cry again, it's been 20 years far from home, far from my land and I still have the strong desire to turn back. People saying that I have a good job, a better life but I keep feeling the taste and the smell of my land where my DNA was forged, the smell of my grandmother's hands feeding me when I was a child where I couldn't even been for her funeral. But in the end this is the price for not knowing how to build a better society.

Oh... You are gonna make me cry now! Yes we fell in love with the country and the people here even we could feel how tough some aspects of the life could be here and how most people have so little hope to see their country following the right path for a peaceful and a fair development. But 20 years far from your mother land, damn that's long

its good to see the remotest area, these are the beaten tracks that most tourists do not get to explore, this is where the soul of the country lies, you get to see the real hospitality of people and you are away from the commotion and noise of touristy areas where most people flock, the majority of Albanian heartlands are sparsely populated and nature is untouched, a true gem for people who seek more than a shallow sun and beach holiday, its a country for people who love adventure and want to meet real people who open up they homes and hearts to you.

Yes, this is how we like to travel and this gives us the feeling to have trully discovered a country even though we cannot absolutely everywhere in the country, we would need a lifetime for this. Albania really suprised us, we were not prepared for so much beauty and kindness. I hope it will stay like this for as long as possible, there is not many places left like this on earth...

@FurtherStories5 жыл бұрын
