Scotland wouldn't be Scotland without crazy winds!!! Getting to the top of a mountain on a really windy day gives you a real thrill when you also get a view from the top. Just watched both your videos over my tea. I must have been in Scotland at pretty much the same time as you, as I returned to the West Country a week ago today. I also witnessed shimmering blue Mediterranean seas when at home it just rained and rained. These are two absolutely stunning videos which I thoroughly enjoyed viewing. Just who are the nine sad souls who pressed thumbs down? Have they no heart and soul??? These videos just missed one little thing. The music was atmospheric but I would have loved one or more of the tracks to have been Scottish music. Then my happiness would have been complete, although I would have been typing this with a wistful lump in my throat. I fear a long lock-down Covid winter before I will be able to make the long drive north once again.

Welcome to the place I now call home, Athena! A pity I missed you. I first came here as a tourist 10 years ago and in January I realised my dream of finally moving here for good. To my shame I have done pretty much zero hill walking since getting here, so I found your beautifully-shot video a real inspiration (aka kick up the backside!) I look forward to catching up with some of your back catalogue for some hints and tips. Cool van by the way - I’m hoping I can find out more about that on your channel too :) All the best, Andrew.

Absolutely love this series on the Outer Hebrides. I just love how you notice and capture the little moments of magic around you - I can almost hear the waves and feel the wind! You've inspired Ben and I to put these islands on our list for when we eventually make it up to Scotland. Thank you for another beautiful film! xx Chesca

First the covid. Then here in the Pacific Northwest the wildfires are devastating. I have been truly depressed, but you are inspiring. I am headed out again on Monday, and will tackle some coastal mountains where the forests are open (many closed to visitors). Lovely video Athena and Harvey, quite a few beautiful video shots. Back in 1971 I was on Harris and Lewis and I was entranced by the subtle colors of the landscape, the purple heathers and the soft greens of the lichen, that all came together in the colours of the wool and the articles in the shops. Real local crafts fully embedded in the location. Loved it. Looking for ward to your video. Stay safe.

Hi mate, thanks for showing me the Uists where I haven't been yet. Stunning views on that mainly trackless walk. If you ever get the chance, park the van at Lochinver on the west coast mainland & climb Suilven. IF you can get the right conditions I guarantee the best views of mountain, lochs & sea you'll find anywhere in the UK. You're making memories that will last a lifetime - so important. Can't wait till Part 3 xx
