There is no other animal does this. There is no expectations one's offspring's will be come adults they will leave the nest. Most people will have kids for some of these reasons. Take take care of them when they get older, to live a comfortable life from Kids income, In most Asian countries kids are retirement investment, They take kid thru extreme pressure to success in the rat race to become a money making machine. Then they show case their kids as trophy and enjoy the luxuries. Even after the person growing up will not have life of his own. And finally they get married the person and his life doomed. 😂
