Every video I can’t believe the view count. I always think it’s going to be higher! Wait, that sounds bad. I absolutely agree with a few other commenters. Yours is an underrated channel, Stephen. Always quality content about the things I love.

Thanks Justin! 🙂 I'm actually very happy with the views on this. For me a video is successful if it gets 1/10 the view numbers as subscribers. So 8000 subs means 800 views+ is a success.

Haha! Small world, your grandfather David then? Harry or Great Uncle Harry, as we call him is my late granny’s brother. Pretty sure he must have shown my dad, who showed me. 😂
@NealFinlay4 жыл бұрын
@@StephenJReid Yep, David Skates (now sadly no longer with us). Great Uncle Harry - your late Granny was Helen then? My parents were at the lunch for Harry's birthday at Belfast Castle. Certainly is a small world!
@StephenJReid4 жыл бұрын
Aha! Yeah Helen was my granny 🙂 Harry is a bit of a legend, still going strong, my dad visits him fairly regularly. He’s the first filmmaker & tech whizz in the family. Remember watching Super8 film “vlogs” of his of my dad and brothers from 60s. Think I got a old Atari games console from him when I was a kid
@NealFinlay4 жыл бұрын
@@StephenJReid I speak to my granny every week and would ask How Harry is doing - they used to meet up until everything with crazy and lockdown started. He's a character - when him and my Granda got together it was a laugh. Even at Helen's funeral, they were a comedy act. Know we know were you got the film making bug from 😊

I haven’t watched these older videos since I made them. Might be good to go back and see how things have changed. One major change is that the forest the start is no more 🙁 It was a commercial plantation and was completely clear cut about 6months ago. Area has lost a lot of its character now. ADHD sounds about right 😂

Love it, you are very funny. Don't tell to many people about it. Lol Ps that apple core might have been mine.. lol If you walked to the first cairn it's Shanes hill. The second hill with a cairn is Agnews Hill.
@StephenJReid4 жыл бұрын
Ahhhhh I just assumed it was a lower part of Agnew’s hill as the lower cairn isn’t labelled on maps. I’ve always taken Shane’s Hill to mean the general area. Although maybe there’s another lower cairn I’ve missed? Was that Apple core actually yours?! 😂😂
@triestodrum22154 жыл бұрын
@@StephenJReid yes it could be my Apple core. Lol I was up there last week a few times. I'm on Furlough from work. Been walking the hills Like a Yeti. According to some of the signs on stiles (on over the Antrim Hills way) it's officially closed (bananas) but I've been up 2 or 3 times a week walking out from Larne. It a 14 mile walk from Larne over Sallagh and back (great stuff). Yes the first cairn nearest the road is Shanes hill. The second cairn to the north is Agnews Hill. This has been melting my head over the years working out what is what. Agnews is higher.
