It was great for me in the 80s. All my friends lived on the camp, there was a Naafi in the centre near the park and I only lived round the corner. Swimming pool on the camp near the gym. The local primary school was great. Great memories. Playing in the woods surrounding the base. Watching the planes flying overhead. 🙂

Lovely video and beautiful countryside., nearest I’ve been to Binbrook is probably Horncastle & Louth. as well as Cadwell Park. Lincolnshire Wolds are stunning! ❤️xx

They certainly are. Definitely recommended for a few peaceful days of hiking with a visit to some old market towns for coffees and a roam about. Thanks for watching Sylvia 🙏

I live in Grimsby and grew up loving the sight and sound of the Lightnings flying overhead. Especially when they were coming into land and flying slowly with their undercarriage down. I also loved the video and am planning on taking the same walk in the next week or so. Thanks for the whole experience.

Thanks for watching and commenting. It was a great route and the church of St Andrews at Stainton Le Vale has a lovely bench for coffee and lunch. There are other wolds walks on my channel if you’d like to have a look. I can recommend the Bolingbroke hike and also the Tealby/Walesby walk. All the best with it and thanks again. 👍🏻

Lovely walk that gav. It’s an area I’ve never visited but it looks so picturesque. Hope you’re doing well, good to see you out. ATVB Robert

Thanks Rob, it’s a great area for walking. It’s quite gentle compared to the Lakes and Highlands of course but it’s the rolling hills that are just great for a lengthy hike without wearing you out too much. Looking forward to your latest vid with the inversion and aurora.

Thanks Phil, I really enjoy the creative process. This one was particularly poignant as I lived there for a couple of years but as a kid it seemed like a lifetime. Thanks for watching 🙂👍🏻

@HikingForHealth1 the story was fascinating Gav, think I've watched it twice, keep replaying bits!

@PhilWaud That’s really great to hear Phil. I enjoyed doing the timefreezes with my old house and the sports day pic. I couldn’t quite get the distance right as couldn’t get any further forward as the gate was there but I managed to match up the hill in the background so it’s gives the idea. 🙂 Good old BMXs eh
