Awesome work getting across those bridges! I also love hiking and probably the best (and scariest) part of the hike is the bridges. Best I've seen so far is a single log over a 30 foot drop with no way to go around and half of the log is rotted out. Granted it was a mighty big log, but still. Sketchy. Keep up the great work, love the video as per always. (PS. Love the trekking poles Kyde! They save lives, well my feet that is.)

This reminds me of Hyogo hike in the winter, there was a JR station sign short cut to the train, but then it led into some unkempt trail and the signs just stopped appearing. I just end up lost and didn't return home until 10pm, because I end up 3 train stations away from original station. Nice Find with the Neko Delivery Service Box! I saw them delivering down in southern Taiwan in Kaoshiung and Ma Kong Island. You two should hike Old Rag Mt in Harrisburg, VA when you come back to visit.

You know what would be awesome? If you did a vlog of you both at one of those traditional summer festivals with the game booths and all and dress up in a kimono and yukata. It would be fun watching you scoop goldfish and trying out all the food!

Mothmallow We have covered festivals in the past, but I think somewhere in the "Living in Japan" 4 part series. Honestly we don't really go to them very often because they are often the same exact stuff over and over, very hot and crowded. Every once in a while you stumble across a unique one though, if we find them we will make videos! -Eric

I made a big mistake. I made a turkey meatloaf for a Buddhist World Peace meeting I thought was this weekend. It's next weekend. I will have to eat this within the week. So I had a meatloaf sandwich as I watched this video. It was so thick that I used a knife and fork. Which you definitely could have used on your adventure. Being in the mountains of Japan, with all the fresh rain, and a fast moving stream. The water is bound to be ok.

STUDENTENFUTTER!!! Oh my!!!! Translated it means something like "student´s food" . They call it like that because the brain needs a lot of nurturing while you learn. :) And we actually say Cranberries just the same way as you do (since it is indeed the english word), because the German word is not as sexy for marketing. (Moosbeere or Kranichbeere....) But to be honest: I cannot eat it anymore to save my life. My grandmother always used to have a trailmix in the house and try to feed it to me. (They did not have the chocolate ones back then.)

Hello! X) I Just Wanted To Ask You A Couple Questions, If That's Cool. 1. What Part Of Japan Did You Guys Enjoyed & Prefer The Most? 2. How Much Would It Cost To Travel All Over Japan At Least Once? 3. What Would You Recommend To Go First When Visiting Japan? P.S. You Guys Make An Adorable Couple! =) Peace! Really Enjoy Your Channel!
@kydeanderic9 жыл бұрын
MrMrvotie Hi! 1. It's hard to choose as diferent areas are certainly diverse from one another. I really personally like Otaru in Hokkaido. I also enjoy the people down in Kyushyu. Tokyo has it's incredible spots too, of course. I really can't chose, and it all depends on what it is you are hoping to experience. 2. I have no idea how to begin to answer this. There is a LOT to see in Japan and it could take years to properly explore the entire country. It also greatly depends if you are looking to stay in cheap places or want more luxuary, and depends on what kind of activities you want to take part it. 3. I think this document I wrote might help. docs.google.com/document/d/1DOUoFuDJ9I7hTIUCFkyAdnY_Q2jvZ-c84bezj8PyuPU/edit You could also check out this much more detailed document made by a third party. docs.google.com/document/d/1wjqJKYEKbHSUTsj8Lxj8OCn0gSOXOpf_SroyBEjLbKY/edit -Eric

That's how chop sticks were invented, in the woods. Nature seems quite dense there, snakes, spiders and long invisible things shaking trees. Could be a God and you haven't made a suitable offering? You stole sticks in the woods. Have a ceremonial and a ham offering before you enter deep forrest areas not to angry the tall thing.

Hello Kyde and Eric, lovely vid as usual ... my message's to Kyde, i tried to find a way to send it in private but didn't find any but this... i'd like to tell u that u lost weight remarkably, u look a lot under the wight, am a very thin person, and i can tell u that loosing that much weight especially at late 20s and the begining of 30s is not good ... i used to workout a lot and eat less; now i'm under weight and i find difficulty gaining weight no matter how heavy i eat ... saw ur dinner vid too... seriously, try to eat healthier and consistent meals ... i'm sorry if i'm being indiscreet, i just don't want u to go through what i'm being through. have a good day Peace PS: u can remove my message, won't feel offended, at least i'll know that it reached u

Amina Bettayab Her dinner video was not representative of her normal diet, it's something fun she did for the week, and even at that what she had wasn't really that unhealthy considering it came from a 711. She has lost weight this year, but has also had checkups from her doctor and no alarm was expressed. Thanks for your concern, I'll pass it to Kyde. Oh, in the future if you want to send a private message email is probably the eaisest! Our address can be found on our website. -Eric
