Guadalajara is actually one of the safest cities in Mexico, although it does have some dangerous areas just like any big city but compare to like Acapulco or ciudad Juarez, where is actually dangerous, no, Guadalajara is much safer

Tammy, thank you for bringing us along with you on another of your adventures. The beauty in the trees, water, mountains and spirit that you bring is one of the most calming things that can be seen. Spirit Forest is not only the name of your property but also a description of you, for you have spirit as large as a forest. Then the ending shot of you looking out the window deep in thought is as beautiful and calming as the scenery. Thank you again for the wonderful content that you bless us with.

I love hearing the birds singing as the morning wakes up. Really nice view from your window of Guadalajara. The stream looked so far away from where you were standing on that mountain. They have beautiful murals through out all of the Mexico Cities. I've never been. I watched Maddy & Jordan via of Tangerine Travels on You Tube. (Like you) Enjoy your visit as best as you can. Thank you for sharing.

So glad to get this update, Mexico, at least there in Guadalajara looks to be very beautiful. It was nice that you got to get in a short hike before work, would be even nicer if a person could do that before work everyday, sigh, but then we probably wouldn't enjoy it as much, us foolish people. Hope work went smoothly, you had fun and made it back to Spirit Forest. Happy that you like the cookies, my favorite, looking forward to more videos, take care and stay safe.

I was there a few years back. I didn't care for the city proper but loved the country side. You should try and visit peracho, probably spelled different from that though. Its the guitar capital of the world. I had a great time, it was also during the tequila festivals, lol. Great video

Hi Spirit, nice video, it was enjoyable to watch. Like yourself, I enjoy the looks of and the smell moss. It is used a lot in Alaska for filtering water. Glad you got to experience that area. I too enjoy your videos with your beautiful smile and soft voice. You even make eating a small cookie enjoyable, lol. Here is my thought, how about chit chats every Sunday about your week and throw in some video of things you do. I live so far off the road system, KZbin is my TV. Thanks for sharing

here is a good one for you. Back in the early 80's my mom was on a tour of mexico city. My mom being my mom, her and her friend went out window shopping after dark one evening. Apparently was out after curfew and was stopped and questioned by the police. The police quickly determined that these two elderly ladies were harmless and informed them they were out after curfew and of course in danger. My mom had an adventurous spirit and was fearless. The scenery is just something else it's a pity that a lot of beautiful places are not totally inhabited with all beautiful people but as long as we are aware of the dangers at least we can deal with it and enjoy what we can of the landscape. !!

Don't know why they would send a graphic artist to Guadalajara, but so be it. I'm glad you got to spread your wings and experience the new adventure. What's the altitude difference between there and Spirit Forest? Looks like a lot more vegetation and steeper inclines. Nice place to visit.

You might find that all the stories about mexico are not as bad as you think, although it is worse now than it was. I have been following a few couples living and travelling in vans, busses, all over Mexico, central and south america, who found the places they went to, to be wonderful and not at all the scary dangerous places they were told to expect. Did you feel scared walking all around in the morning?

Honestly I respect you’re point of view, but I totally desagree. Guadalajara it’s not a war zone, and there’s a lot of most beautiful places to hike. I think it’s not a dangerous place to visit, we have problems like the whole world. there is a lot of beautiful places and waaaay safers in Guadalajara. i think you just choose the wrong place to stay. Greetings from Guadalajara Mexico.

My next door neighbors daughter teaches Art there for about 7 years now . And she has had some terrifying moments living there with kidnapping of tourists and the drug cartels .But she's been there long enough that the locals watch over her for what she does with the kids .To bad it's such a beautiful place and can't enjoy it because crime .
