It's Thanksgiving Morning and this is the first video I've watched today. What a beautiful day! I woke up to our first snow here in Northern Nevada and it's just beautiful outside. Watching you dance as already made my day. After seeing your latest video of you, your kids and your husband taking down the tent I now realize why you called him your best friend. I think it's wonderful that you and he have stayed friends for the kids sake I'm sure and that is probably the best gift you two could have given your children besides the gift of life. Thanks for making my day....... again......

According to some, the owl is a messenger bird. It shows up in our lives when we need it most. To be awakened by the beautiful call of that owl, then spend time in self reflection, is nothing short of amazing and not at all coincidental! Also, that dance was mesmerizing! You bring such joy to us all. Thank you!

Thanks for the dance! Some people are dancers, I am not much to my regret. I would just once like to dance with a lovely lady of course it could still happen. Stayed in my tent last night, really nice about 28 degrees. I did get a bit nervous when a coyote pack came around about 2:30 very noisy, I don’t mind one or two but the packs make me nervous. After about a hour of coyote chorus they went their way and such is life.

Thank you so much for the reminders. Even though I'm 71, I can relate to what you are saying. I wrote a list of things that apply to me and I could feel some relief with some anxiety...by taking "little steps". When you were dancing I kinda said out loud "let that spirit soar" !! Your talk reminds me of certain practices I learned in 'workshops' I've been to in Big Sur, Esalen Institute . People pay thousands to be able to learn to let their hearts be open and there's lots of body work that involves dancing freely. It is the dance of life we participate in every day. Thanks again Tammy.

19 minutes in... gotta say stuff. Thanks for being real. Actually the best part of real imho-making decisions, taking risks, following your heart. Yes, I do think you’re crazy, but it is what the world needs right now... the knowledge you share is really needed. Couple of things: you are in great condition and dance like I wish I could. Your body serves you, and you appear comfortable in it. Continue tracking through life with your long term goals as your North Star. This is wise (beyond your years, as has been said). ‘Nuff said, for now.

WOW you dance gaoooooood .. and yes @4:45 i usually talk to my dog.. and when if not him i am talking to my self and sometimes out loud.. (no one else will listen) if not out lound there are a lot of hmmm-- and aaaahh, and head shaking . i can see you have a rich inner dialogue.. Nice topic.. Future You... very few people are taught to think about future you.. save for a rainy day just does not cut it. Future you is way more important @6:59 yea a lot of people lose them selves.. but i would submit that you have been so redirected by what you are expected to be it winds up being disappointing. Age will do that to you too. i am the same guy i was when i was 25 but i have much more knowledge and sometimes don't recognize the guy in the mirror because i have a very different view of who i am .. (so i avoid mirrors at all cost) it is hard enough to live with my errors than to look in the mirror and be reminded of all of them. very perceptive. @7:53 great analogy.. this is good stuff.. Wait wait .. you never have the future, you really only have a memory of the past (that is why at the end my mom told me to "remember,, remember" that was a blessing because i do) The future is now, it is right around the corner, you may already be there. It is what we do now that prepares us for what is to come. Planning is good but learning is better! you can say planning is learning and acquiring the necessary things to arrive at what you aim at. Like your fitness thing is all about taking care of the only body you have in order to make it down life"s trail and see what the future has brought to you and your family. Proverbs 20:7 (KJV): “The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.” to see your children's children's children is a blessing beyond belief. You cant do that unless you think about future you, and prepare for future you, good or bad. Wait wait dont tell me... It is not about weight it is about body fat.. if you reduce your body fat and strengthen your upper body as you would like to do you my not see much of a loss of weight but you will see in the mirror and how your cloths fit.. so take aim at you body strength (goal) (God i hate the word goal) and and work hard at it.. and you will attain the desired effect for future you. @10:00 great perception... nice analogy again. WOW momma knows best... @13:17 see you are right.. you are perusing that things that complete you..(and you have a bunch of cool knives too, what a Gal) @14:17 yep it makes sense for sure.. but know too that being the best you can be NOW make your future self even better.. (seriously that mattress folds up.. cool) @18:44 Whoa.. now that is profound i totally get that.. the decisions you make now effect the ripples of time and life of your daughters and how you will be remembered. Your strong personality and inner strength will make your posterity great. so heavy .. Good work!! i get that totally. I am not sure if there is a right or wrong decision it is all in the follow trough and wither or not you own that decision and act accordingly a misstep can be more important than all the other technically correct ones and have much better results. i think i have my list memorized and take the steps necessary every day.. am i happy maybe ..am i unhappy maybe not, i am who i am and that is all that i am. your song? i'm a girl that loves the forest, i am a girl that loves the trees, it calls me. i'm a girl that love the mountains, i'm a girl that love the path, it calls me.. LOL there you go.. may every day be your day. and may the Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. oh yea and some fun too J

Jeff Notti Wow... you are a very insightful, intelligent person. Loved your comments. I find that as strong as I was and as strong as I saw myself... I have lost myself, regardless. I actually fight to hold on to what I have left of me. I liked the old me. I know it’s important to do something about it.. but I’m actually not sure how and what to do. I have complex PTSD, anxiety, fibromyalgia, heart failure (they say I’m to young but here I am) and worst of all chronic fatigue. My mind fights but my body won’t comply. It’s like being in-prisoned in my own body. I’m not sure where to go from here because I’m not sure what’s causing what - my mind, heart, body or all of the above. I can’t figure out how to fix it. Not sure why I’m sharing this.. maybe there will be someone out there who knows something I don’t. I need hope. I think mine is running out. 🙁🥵
@jeffnotti99325 жыл бұрын
@@msgottaneedtoknow Well you absolutely have hope. i would say all of the above is the cause and take one step at a time in recovery. it did not happen over night and it wont go away over night (that is with out devise intervention) i hit bottom and by dumb luck changed my life.. city living and the pursuit of constant striving will take its toll on you.. You know what you love to do so do it. Do what you love and love what you do. I understand people have to work and work is important but. follow your gut your gut will show you the red flags. bring the things into your life that enhance your life and you as a person and cut every thing or one that brings you down. sometimes you need to go out side and sit by a fire (or your barbecue) and just let your mind go.. it is a good exercise to let your thoughts run rough shod over your person. it will also take some time to be able to sit quietly breathing Gods air, and feeling the experience of your self, your body, your mind and your soul.. see you said it your self you know who you are and you love what you were which is still what you are.. may be oppressed but set her free. I am sure you have it in you. Remember Tammy's sign.. you dont know how strong you are until you have no other choice.. you are already pretty strong with amazing endurance and forbearance. do what you love and love what you do even if it is tiddlywinks it just has to be what you want even just sitting on the beach .. J

Some real fantastic moves there Tammy. The one constant in human lives is that change is scary, even when we know that a change is necessary. The other thing, which you spoke of, is you can't expect a different result by following the same path, and doing the same things. I love hearing anything that you are willing to share with us, about your life, your dreams and any other tit-bits you can. Take care Tammy, and what ever you do stay safe

As to Your story, I understand you 100% for I'm in the same place as you with many of the same fears, like you I'm working on selling my home and moving out of California to Los Vegas then to Montana to a small town where I hope I'll be able to fit in. I have my eyes set on some property 1.8 acres of now green grass where I hope to build my log home. Sounding like Bull Hanson with the self help and planning the future thoughts. That is a compliment by the way. My Mom wrote a short story about her life before she died so the family would all know more about her earlier years and what influenced her so that we (8 kids) could better understand life's challenges and who she really was. Be strong young lady! Good timing Tammy. I'm about to retire and start wood carving again. Used to do Viking motif carvings years ago for fun and need to decide a few things.

There was a couple that worked here at the Y years ago and (I think) they used to run the Viking Lodge and Ski Shop in Winter Park. They had a big strong son with red hair, blue eyes and freckles who wanted me to teach him how to carve wood. He showed me some note books of his art drawings which were full of dragons and swords and Viking warriors all very well done but very, very dark. Without going into too much detail... I asked his parents if it was ok for me to give him a sharp knife and teach him. They said "Yes. He would be fine." He would be safe with a sharp knife. And then they told me their son was adopted and his blood line could be traced back to "Erik the Red". I met with him at the craft shop here for a few weeks and he carved a very nice owl sitting on a tree branch. The owl's beak was characterized and would make you laugh. @@SpiritForest
