@@Davespates yea, most channels take a bit of time to get traction, then boom! Don't be discouraged, keep going and it will pop up in due course. I've binged through your 14ers and it's helped me relax at work (put on the second screen). Hoping that this comment of mine will get all the likes when you hit 100k subs. Blessings

I must have missed this one. Absolutely Beautiful Videography!!! Love the night sky and meteors. None of my business, with all do respect, where have you been? I hope you and Emily have simply been busy exploring. You've got us spoiled on your adventures. Haven't seen any new KZbin posts in a long time.

Thanks Vickie! I wish we have been exploring but unfortunately we haven't been (family complications). Might be awhile before we can get back at it, at least consistently.

@@Davespates Thank you for letting us know. Prayers for what's going on in your personal life. You "liked " a post I made a week ago. I told my husband, "He's alive" Not meaning any disrespect but that you were still with us. Thank you for your response. The lakes and peaks will still be waiting for you when the time is right.

You da man bro, beautiful views!! Can I request a video? I wanna tackle my first 14er here in the next comming weeks. Can you maybe do a video on how to prepare, necessary gear, and stuff like that? No worries if that’s not the kinda video you wanna put out I totally get it, but I get completely inspired by your videos to get out and explore bro!!

This is a good idea. I will try and put something together for preparing for 14ers in Colorado. If for some reason I don't get to it, I would recommend (even though I hate crowds) going on a popular route such as Mt. Sherman, Quandary Peak, or Bierstadt to get an overall feel for high elevation hikes, alternatively go with someone experienced if possible. Lots of hikers get in danger when they get off trail and get lost and exhausted from bushwhacking. I think essentials would be wind jacket, down jacket, gloves, inReach satellite communicator (or something similar), water filter. Things you probably wont use on the trail but when needed can be vital. 14ers.com is the best resource for planning. Start early to avoid afternoon t-storms. Check the weather the day prior. Alltrails, Caltopo, or similar gps software (paid usually) is helpful.
