Great video! I didn't realize so much of it would be on a clear trail. I was going to hike MxGuire about 6 years ago, but I turned the truck around because I didn't want it to get scratched up (hiked the Slesse Memorial instead). Same truck, all these years later, and I wouldn't care now lol It's time for me to revisit this outing!

Thanks for joining us! ✌ I wish the video could capture it's true beauty, it's a million times better in person. The type of terrain is different from anything I've ever seen. There is so much limestone, which gives it that unique colour that can even be seen from down in the valley.

We got lots of great hikes here in Chilliwack from trails for families to more advanced hikes like this one. You should take a look at this hiking guide published by Tourism Chilliwack: tourismchilliwack.s3.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/03114943/CHWK_GUIDE_2019_Web.pdf You can also pick up this copy at their office by the Heritage Park. 😊

It is really something that everyone needs to experience, at least once, before they poo poo the idea of hiking. Hikers kill themselves to feel more alive, funny sounding, but that's a great way to describe it. There is nothing more exciting than the last stretch of scramble before you're standing on top of the world. Try it, it would be neat to see everything you're familiar with in the Fraser Valley from way way up. :) Thanks for watching!

I hope that there are more videos soon, like Rod said, just gotta wait for Covid restrictions to lift. Stay safe out there and thanks for watchin' Stephen!

Above a large talus slope but below a vertical summit climb the most popular trail offers hikers an opportunity to leap over a pit entry cave or side-step around it. On exposure ahead it is possible to look down rearward between both legs and admire aircraft flying within the Chilliwack River Valley. You're also into the alpine region. Hiking off-trail might slide people into a world of hurt. Clouds may hide the southern side horror.
