Went to Madeira last month and did a lot of the same things, and man do I give you props for all the camera setups on the Pico to Pico hike haha, some really steep parts there I'd hate to do them twice. Great video once again!

The scenery reminds so much of my hometown in Tenerife, Canary Islands. You can really tell the similarities in terms of vegetation and also the housing, architecture... Having recently sailed to Madeira, and following your work for some time, this travel film far exceeds many of your former videos. I love the aerial/musical intro, providing perspective of location and upcoming challenge of the hike, however, 5min+ is outside most peoples' attention span (in this age)., Keep up the good work, safe travels and may the Gods of your ancestors look kindly upon you.

Nice one. Amazing shots. Nice edit for the day hikes but you are correct when you are doing a committed long distance hike the back-story is much more engaging. I think when doing day-hikes you need to set up a framework which would be something like 20 days hikes in 5 days, lol! Anyways glad to see you back on the Sony camera, I hope you enjoyed the options you get with the 20-70 lens, Would love to hear about your experience with it if the F4 made sense and worked for you? Can't wait for the next one :)
