There sure is a uniqueness with the Joshua Tree rock formations. I've heard people disparage this park - but I've always been impressed and have enjoyed myself when visiting. Nice that you can endure those warmer temps. Interesting video testimony and cameo appearance!

yeah those rounded rock piles are really something else... people are upset that it gets crowded- i say go in summer, or Hike away from the road a little and it i easy to escape the crowds... However i do laugh endlessly at the way the "town" of Joshua Tree is full of LA hipsters hhahaha// a lot tp make fun of over there haha/ Glad you enjoy it, and yeah it is fun to pop into the scene occasionally haha

I’ve been to JTNP a few times this year but I always skip Ryan Mountain..probably I’ll save that hike in the winter and maybe I can catch some snow.

oh you should definitely try it, the views are fantastic and it is not that tough for an experienced hiker like you

There is something so magical about Joshua tree! I have been here with friends three times. I'll keep coming here whenever I have an opportunity. Love the night sky as well. I don't know how to drive a car, a bit scared to start.
