Hiking Silver Mountain Lempster, NH

Today's Adventure took us to Silver Mountain in Lempster NH.What an awesome mountain to hike for little effort! Trail is less than 3/4 of a mile one way with an elevation gain of 450'. We found some cellar holes and an old outhouse. As you approach the summit there are a lot of blueberry bushes to have a snack. The summit also offers great views, but it was a bit hazy while we were there. The summit also has a lot of names carved in the rock face. We found one from 1881, but most are tough to read. Piper had a great time too, though she thought the summit was to hot and it was not even a hot day. 🤣

Hi Art, nice to hear from you! Back is doing well, this was the highest peak we have done since finally getting the back fixed correctly. We are hoping to get back to the 4000 footers. Hope you guys are doing well. How is the Precept doing?

@@WeRmudfun Good to hear the back is progressing for you. We are well, thanks. Precept is holding up, except the slide toppers need replacing. The sun destroyed the OEM fabric. Getting ready for some beach camping in August, can't wait to get away from the heat. 🥵

Glad to hear all is good with you guys. I remember the sun and weather destroying the seams of the toppers and using eternabond tape tape on the underside. They held up pretty good. We enjoyed California, but the heat of the desert was a bit much. Maybe you should head out this way before the snow starts again. LOL

Nice hike and you found some things too.... My cousin is in Walpole not too far from where you were. Have a question though - what do you guys use for tick repellant when hiking and same for the dog? Thanks in advance. God Bless:)

Not a problem. We use Zodiac Flea and Tick for the dogs. We have is setup to come every 3 or 6 months. There is a link to it in the description box under the video and in our Amazon Store. 😀
