I didn't end up having to replace anything or repair anything. I just had to mash on the switches a few times and reassemble. They all had the click. But now I know what's happening thanks to your video. Great help. Thank you.

Nice job. Is the short bracket bar with the rubber nub supposed to be facing up or down? I’ve seen online where to purchase ~they point downward in all pics. Thanks for sharing, planning to install.
@WeRmudfunАй бұрын
Thank you. The rubber nubs face down. That way they act as a shock absorber otherwise the ladder could rattle while driving. It is also the way the directions show to install them. 😀

Thank you so very much! You’ve solved my drawn out mystery! My butane can doesn’t come with instructions and I’ve had countless friends (all male) try to fill my extra long lighters and now I can finally enjoy my candles! 💗 ps The nozzles didn’t work for my lighters, so I removed them and just used the can nozzle and it worked perfectly! Chuck and Cheryl, the cellar hole that you passed along Halfmoon Pond Road at the end of your journey was a farm that, as you would expect, was owned by a number of people over many years. To focus on one family - the 1886 History of Washington, NH records that Abraham Dow and his wife Lucretia (Caldwell) Dow moved their family from Weare, NH to Washington's Mountain District, in 1837. The same History records that the Dow's had at least four children 3 of whom came to Washington (sadly little Daniel R Dow, their 3rd child, passed away the year before the move, age 19 months). A search of Sullivan County deeds shows that the Dow's bought the farm from Amos Corey in March of 1837. Abraham and Lucretia also owned a another Washington property, along the Old Marlow Road, and from what I can see from a check of census records, after the 1850 census, but prior to the 1860 census, they were making the property of on the Old Marlow Road their home. They continued to own the farm on the Mountain Road until at least 1865. At some time after the 1870 census, Abraham and Lucretia left Washington and returned to Weare. Abraham died in Weare at the age of 77 in 1878 and is buried there in the Dow - Peaslee Burying Ground. Lucretia returned to Washington, as her three surviving children, all girls, had remained there (two marrying local Washington men), and in fact she and her daughters all stayed in Washington for the rest of their lives. Lucretia died in Washington in 1884 at age 81. -Bill Mulcahy for the WNHHS

Hi Chuck and Cheryl. Thank you so much for the shoutout for our organization and for displaying the link to our website! Max Israel is a fascinating person. He was born in 1886 in what was then known as the "Russian Pale of Settlement," an area where Jews were allowed to live but not allowed to own land. By 1905 he was able to escape the poverty and privation of the Pale of Settlement and immigrate to America. He eventually settled in New Hampshire and became an itinerant peddler, travelling on foot to bring the people of rural New Hampshire manufactured goods that they did not have easy access to. Through hard work and determination he branched out into many different businesses, including real estate investments - which is the source for the 600 acre forest preservation tract that you saw and that caries his name. His is an amazing story, and for those who would like to learn more about it, here is a link to a great article written by one of our members, Phil Budne, published in our Fall 2009 newsletter. www.wnhhs.org/newsletter-pdfs-1/2009-fall Bill Mulcahy

8:24 - My AI agent said this about Max Israel State Forest: "Max Israel State Forest is located along the Monadnock-Sunapee Greenway trail in New Hampshire. The name seems to be used for a section of trail or an area within hiking routes, indicating it's possibly a local or informal name for part of a larger state forest or conservation area rather than an officially recognized state forest by itself." Hope that helps. 😃👍

I have to post a longer comment than I previously did... This gentleman saved us over $500 by not buying a new GE microwave. We somewhat still "new' homeowners who previously were apartment renters. Anytime something went wrong in the apartment we just called maintenance, so we don't know how to fix anything. We purchased our first home (which was then only 7 years old) in our late 30s and it's been 4 years now. We've learned to look things up on KZbin now and it's saved us a lot of money. We are learning, albeit slowly. The home we bought was our Realtors first sale and as a way of Thanking us for being so patient with him he purchased us a one-year home warranty. We called them one time about this microwave and the "copay" was $75. The very shady repairman showed up 2 weeks later and we were shocked the whole bill only came to $125. It was a waste. After that, we learned most microwave repairs are inexpensive parts which can be ordered online, DIY and less than our "copay" with the horrible home warranty. When the renewal of said warranty came up, we were SHOCKED it was over $700 a year. We learned they'll patch up appliances that are decades old rather than replace; it would take an act of Congress if people think that they're going to get a new washer or dryer or central air conditioning unit out of them. The companies that they use to do the repair work are so shaddy, unprofessional and unresponsive. I couldn't believe how many phone calls it took to get them to come out to even look at our microwave. Like I said, it took over 2 weeks and that was after many promises but resulted in no shows. Once they came out it took them a further 12 days or so to bring back the part that they said they had and actually complete the repair. Alas, we went without the microwave for almost a month. Side note, the home warranty company was not American Home Shield 😂. Anyway, I am SO GLAD I decided to do a quick KZbin search to see if there was a fix for something like this and that there are people who are kind enough post free videos, which in turn, help out less savvy people like my husband and I. Thank you thank you thank you. ❤❤❤

We were completely convinced we needed a new microwave. Ours is an over the range, 14 yr old GE. I noticed about 5 days ago the fan was running with the door open. I found it odd and figured something was about to blow, but since the food was stil heating, I didn't care. That was until yesterday when the microwave stopped heating the food and the fan wouldn't run with the door closed. I was about to spend $500 on a new GE but decided to look up a fix (if there was one) on KZbin. I searched and the first video I came across was yours. Your instructions were super easy to follow, especially for someone like me who is not a repair person at all especially when it comes to appliances. Thanks to you, I know what's wrong. I'm using the link you provided to buy a replacement for the one that doesn't "click" as shown in your video. Fingers crossed it does the trick, but I am quite confident it will! I can not thank you enough. Also, thanks for the tips about remembering which wires go where and to know things before taking them apart. I definitely would not have done that and would have been a very confused. I took pictures and videos of everything before I took it apart and after I did and as I did each step. I even recorded videos of what I was doing and what went where so when the part comes, I know how to put it back together correctly.
