Hi Robert, That marker on top of Blood Mountain is called a Bench Marker. It's was placed there after they did the surveying. It's a permanent mark established at a known elevation.

The RV resort looks so nice and with so many amenities. Your hike up to Blood Mountain, just beautiful, (thank you for that, so strenuous). I'm really happy that there was a good flow of water from the waterfall, and actually as you said it, I thought to myself, it would be grand sliding down that waterfall, so I don't think you were delirious! LOL! I can't get over how beautiful all your sky shots (clouds) and sunsets are, it's as if we are right there too. Thank you for making and sharing this great video.😊👍🌌

Mr. Robert...I actually thank the Lord that I found your videos this year of all years. Do know that your vids have been like rare little rays of much needed sunshine. LOL I would have been fine on that trail unless I saw a Timber Rattler. No wonder you get so hungry for your delicious omlettes and stuff with all the activity you get hiking and what not.

Hey Robert! Love your vids! Originally from Roanoke, VA. You really should go back sometime after all this COVID mess and check out Peaks of Otter on Blue Ridge Parkway again. Also, l suggest truck only, a ride down Powells Gap down along Jennings Creek to Arcadia/ Buchanan. There's also a winery going down Rte 43 toward Bedford. If you continue down BRP you will come to Meadows of Dan. Mabry Mill and Chateau Morrisette. Fall can be congested due to color change seekers. Take care and God Bless.

Another Sunday morning on the trail with Robert...very nice! Re: "there's something about the mountians...", well, a famous outdoorsman once said "The mountains are calling and I must go." - so you know how John Muir felt. I liked getting a glimpse of Bigfoot in the vineyard--those things are all over the place, even saw one on the trail out to the Crescent City lighthouse a couple of weeks ago. Happy trails!

Be careful Robert. Specialized hiking boots or shoes or you can easily twist your ankle on those rocky trails. If you twist it 45 minutes into the trail, 3 hours to get back. People may or may not help. Sometimes going downhill is worse than up. You are in Georgia, beware of snakes! Beautiful resort; Very clean and apparently well managed. Liked the swimming pool a lot. Wonder if they have a carryout? Kool videos Robert!

We were at the RV resort three days after you were there, visiting family from Texas. Their big motor home was about 7 spots down from you & makes an appearance twice in your video! It has a tall flag pole on the back which you passed on the way out. You should check out Anna Ruby Falls some time, they are adjacent to Unicoi State Park north of Helen, GA.

Now you know why I love the Blairsville, GA area! There’s so much beautiful scenery around the area. I’ve been to Helton Creek Falls several times. And there’s some more waterfalls worth seeing near Helen, GA, particularly Anna Ruby Falls. Also Brasstown bald which is the highest point in Georgia is worth it too. That one is a little closer to Blairsville. Hopefully next time you come through the area you can see these attractions! By the way, that chicken fajita looked really good! I’ve been to Waynesville before too, and it’s a cute little town!

Robert, I think yo would benefit by making a video with just your music. Let people listen to it. Songs like Desert Rain and Foothills are incredible pieces. Whoever buys the album buys it - but at least you would make it easier to share the music. When I share the music, I am told they were not expecting such great music from the cover. I agree. There is no way to expect such incredible music from the cover. Not bad cover just that it creates a different expectation. I think you would get a lot of views just for those songs. Not everyone cares about travel or RV's.
