The first time I did Creise was before the survey so I did the southern top. After the re-surve, those of us who had not finished the Munros were told to re-do Creise and visit the new top - so I elected to make it my final Munro. A neat ending.

Great video of 2 straightforward munros there, James. You got great views from the 2nd one and the bonus of the views from the 1st one on the way back. ATB Andy

I had an absolute 'mare on these two and it ended up taking me three attempts over the end of 2022 and start of 2023 to get them both. When I did finally get Creise the views west were amazing and worth the wait. It was great to see them in summer conditions and maybe a couple that I will get again.

Unlucky, but great that you finally got them! Atleast it was worth the wait.. Cheers, James

Cracking video James, thank you for sharing it. Two lovely hills with a very nice connecting ridge. Both summits great view points. Your video brought back fond memories for me having climbed them two years ago on a cold and frosty October day. I was afforded great views also. Thank you again.

Amazing views. I'm pretty sure we saw the Skye Cuillin from the summit of Creise last time I climbed it (I'd left my camera at home). It's one of my favourite mountains, a mini version of Buachaille Etive Mor with fantastic easy-ish scrambles. You have now overtaken me in Munro numbers - and I'm guessing you've climbed more than 206 by now! I decided to pause when I got to 200, to catch up on Corbetts, Grahams and Donalds. All my friends are starting to overtake me in Munros now, and I'll probably be attending some Compleations next year.

Great views with very little effort to get to the tops. I'm not a fan of ski areas in the Summer months. You can also do a steep ridge route from Glen Etive to Creise to avoid the Ski Centre.
@ScottishMunroJourney Жыл бұрын
It was an enjoyable day, will be doing that route next time 😁 Cheers, James

Took me two shots to complete these two. First time, almost zero visibility, strong winds, being a bit on the elderly side😅, on my own and having seen no one, decided at Meall a' Bhùirdhe summit to call it a day. Returned a week later and did them with my grandson, T-shirt weather all the way. I must admit, second time, I was sorely tempted to take the ski lift, but managed to dissuade myself😅!

Well done John, it was very tempting to take the ski lift 😂 Cheers, James

Glencoe is great for views. I was up there two days ago taking 4 virgin hillwalker up Stob Dubh (Buachaille Etive Beag). Do you have many left to do in Glencoe?
@MyScottishAdventures Жыл бұрын
Outstanding video as always James. Views look incredible. Just to ask. Do you think it is possible to get the ski lift up to start the walk? just so I can take my son and give him a easy start? Can't wait for your next video. All the best. Alan

These two hills are above Glen Etive not Glen Coe
@ScottishMunroJourney Жыл бұрын
Technically correct, but considering you walk from the Glencoe Ski Center it’s better to not confuse things 😂
