Aye, Glen Kingie is a wild and lonely place indeed. Stayed at Kinbreak bothy & climbed Sgurr na Corrieachan, remember a superb stalker,s path up the hill. Never did get to Sgurr na Ciche, canni do it now, 69 with a heart condition. Keep it up James, you take me back year,s.

That looked pretty tough, James, though I was so glad when you were rewarded with that all-too-brief view from the summit. Strong winds have their uses sometimes! I'd imagine from about now onwards that bog will become more and more impassible, so good shout, for getting it done when you did.

I had a very memorable hike a few years ago starting with kayaking up Loch Quoich from the opposite side, the climbing the north side of Sgurr Mor, over two more munros, then up Sgurr na Ciche before kayaking back to the start point at NH004031. Perfect weather and an epic day out over some of the finest hills in Scotland 👌

Getting closer James. I did Sgurr Mor along with The Glendessary Munros in an epic 12 hour day. Your video brings back great memories, so thanks as always for sharing. 👌

Enjoyed the video as usual James. Thank goodness you were ok after going down in the boggy ground. Stunning view's and was glad the clag cleared. I have just done my first Munro at the age of 70 in memory of my wee sister who passed away with cancer in May. I climbed from the car park at the Glencoe ski centre beside the chair lift to the plateau and then across to start the climb up Meall a ' Bhuiridh and made it all the way to the top and back safely. It was a bit of a slog, but made it. I set up a giving page for three charities for which i have raised over a thousand pounds. I am going to leave the page open until the end of October. I hope you don't mind me saying this in the comments. Look forward to the next one.

Well done James. I feel your pain a very hard hill. I camped out and went as far as Sgurr Na Ciche then day 2 finished on Sgurr Mor. Full pack on!! Those were the days right enough. Enjoy your last 7. Looking forward to your next outing.

Good video James, but I’m looking forward to seeing your completion video, got a wee backlog I see. Glen Kingie is a right pain. I did this Munro with the Sgurr na Ciche 3, waa a bit of an epic 😂

It was great to see the cloud clear just when you got to the top. Great views over to Knoydart, now only if there was a clear sky. I did this with Gairich and the Corbett in between. (with a wild camp in between). This may be the better way if you go back to climb the Corbett. Thanks for the video, Looking forward to the end of sad you are near to the end?

What I like about most of the videos I watch about bagging Munros are how few people there seem to be slogging about the countryside. There appears to be much more opportunity for solitude than I have experienced rambling around the southern Appalachian high country accessible to me.

It's amazing to think that the Scottish Highlands and the Appalachian mountains used to be part of the same Pangean mountain range.

You were very lucky getting any views from the top👍 I did it in June 1st with better weather and the views are amazing ,it's a brilliant Munro 👍 I take it , it wasn't a drone day? Some of the weather reports this year has been just as unreliable as the weather 😂 .... it's always a killer seeing it all clear 15mins after your off the top 😅

Good evening James. Blimey mate that was a boggy old affair. It reminded me of some areas of the here in the Lake District. At least you got some views when you got to the top, because it didn’t look promising from the bealach. 🤣 All the best mate 😀⛰🥾🏴🏴

Yoo James, I'm just curious. What do you plan on doing with the channel after you've completed all the munros in scotland? Will you find all the Corbetts, Grahams, Marlyins etc. Or just explore more of Scotland? I can highly recommend checking out the Isle of Harris and Lewis as there are some very adventurous mountains there. Though not as high as the munros, they still offer some amazing walks and views. One Mountain/hill I've been trying to reach is a mountain called caiteseal located in the Pairc Peninsula of Lewis.

Hello James I done Garich then corrbett to west of Gairich (down west and up west) then slight down west and up west to Sgurr Mor 2012 if I remember correctly would have to check date written in book or date on camera card returned over the corrbett and followed a burn north over the east high sholder of Garich (not recommended by the way) Very well done yet again. Good to see footage of rocky top of sgurr mor again hope you enjoyed views and biscuits at top Best wishes Ger

Shahooorsir that was nearly a snapped ankle... imagine it.. nearly at the goal and that happens. Goes a long way to show that a good pair of ankle supported boots is needed like you have. I see so many KZbinrs now wearing trail trainers etc. But this shows you do need boots. Great video as per James. Do you see yourself going and hitting some mountains overseas ? Something bigger than 1500m ? Ps. Empire biscuits are elite mountain fuel.
