Hiking the Buffalo Trace and (part of) Heritage Trail at Blue Licks Battlefield State Park in KY

Hiking the Buffalo Trace and (part of) Heritage Trail at Blue Licks Battlefield State Park in Carlisle, KY. We start at the North end of the Buffalo Trace trail and hike to the connector to the Heritage Trail. After getting the text to come back to the campsite, we work our way back across US 68 and towards the campground. The connector trail is interesting, much of it feels like an abandoned sidewalk/roadway before opening up into an open field. The battle of Blue Licks was the last in the struggle for the United States to gain independence during the revolutionary war.
