One of the most difficult things about being catholic is accepting that nearly every person you know and/or love will burn in incomprehensible agony and terror for all eternity. According to catholic teaching and the saintly accounts and apparitions, heaven is reserved for only a infinitesimal minority, as few as one or two in million with some going to purgatory and the VAST majority falling into hell. God being all knowing and powerful knows nearly all his children are burning in agony but will never free them despite his ability to do so. They will endure this for all eternity, FOREVER, in this state of pure agony and terror. Nearly every you know. Your parents, family, friends, children will endure this fate. And even if you make it to heaven, you will have to live forever in paradise with the knowledge that nearly all those whom you loved are burning in agony and terror FOREVER. They are burning in the same lake of fire if they raped and murdered children or if they had sex with their life long wife before marriage and never made a good confession. But the fact that most people who ever lived, are living or will live will burn forever in hell is ultimately Gods will as he exists beyond space and time and knew this would be the final reality and ultimately nothing happens without him allowing it, so be it.

@@newparadigm7444you good bro? You’re acting like a sede/sspx/feeyenite… listen to St. Catherine to hear both of Gods mercy and of his justice at the moment of death for a soul. There is hope, as long as the soul accepts the mercy.
@electrical_cord

@@TheAngelicDoctor Yeah because V2 clearly taught that God's mercy abounds. If any non-Catholic, through no fault of their own, doesn't know the Church or Christ, he can be saved via invincible ignorance.

I think that you will find college teaching to be very rewarding. Please continue making these kinds of videos, though, for regular people such as me. As a fairly new convert to Catholicism (June 2020), I have learned a great deal from your videos, and have appreciated the high quality of instruction that you provide. You have a way of blending the mind and the heart when you present information, and this will be a great benefit for your future students.

Your dissertation Fr Pine is exactly my question to God back in 2010, how can Christ passion save me. I thought I had a weird question that I shouldn't ask in the first place. But God so graciously showed me since then. Thank you for all that you do.

Sad to see you leave Europe. Good job on your German though. You even have adopted the rolling swiss "R" :-) Had I known you were coming to Liechtenstein, I would have made sure the red carpet be rolled out for both of you in any of the parishes. In fact, if you did start the VA on the Sücka, you started your Via Alpina in the parish in which I served as a priest for 9 years. In 2018 I did a complete alpine traverse from East to West visiting 220 shrines turning the Via Alpina into the "Via Alpina Sacra". If you ever want to take a group to Europe on pilgrimage in the mountains, let me know. I would be happy to suggest some beautiful shrines that combine mountains, hiking with proper religious destinations (processions included).

I don't think you are correct at all... You do not take into account that Mercy is God's most predominant quality. As a devout Catholic, your view of this doesn't resemble my perspective or beliefs at all. So, I encourage you to leave room for the potential that you are incorrect!

@@micheled8764 I'm not going by my personal opinion, I'm going by church doctrine, the accepted accounts of the saints and indeed many of the proclamations and visions of the nine accepted apparitions of the Virgin Mary. Nearly all of His children will burn in unbearable agony of hell FOREVER and God will not give any relief. This is his will and so be it.
My Story.
