Awesome view and hike 😎👍💕 13 switchbacks on 85 degree day, tough! Tough hike when you haven't hiked for a while. Woot woot new job :D Hope the training went well. We need to do this trail next time we are around! Good tip on staying on the trail - glad you were the guinea pig on this hike 🤣 You rocked it guys 👏 Amazing view!!! And the best is going down 😉

Don't forget the bear spray next time! 😀. Looks like the Y has some great views if you don't mind a hard uphill hike. You guys conquered it.👍 Wonder why they white washed the trail, for looks? Save travels guys!

Haha for sure! Not sure have prevalent they are in the area, but always good to have it just in case if not sure. Oh, the white wash was just for the 'Y' itself so folks could see it from far away. Looks like they all formed a line going from the bottom all the way to the top of the Y. Crazy stuff! Thanks for watching! - Shane

People are always saying it is a really steep trail is it really that steep also do you recommend having your kids stay home ?

I do remember it being pretty steep just going up to the Y itself. I think it goes up like 1000ft in one mile, or something like that. We left our dog behind mainly because it was a fairly warm day, but if you have active kids that enjoy hiking I bet they could make it. - Shane
