When AA covers another city or country, it's worth watching. Hong Kong looks amazing, authentically dingy and full of character and interesting smells I imagine

I've never been anywhere that combined urban city life cheek by cheek with massive nature access. It's really unique and I think the hills help (hard to build on em!).

The New Territories are definitely worth the trip, food is very much cheaper there. Victoria Peak is absolutely stunning, I've seen it twice - at night and day time. Yes, numerous lemon teas and Pocari Sweat are required per day in the summer humidity. Bacardi not recommended until fully hydrated though 😅
@AdventureArchives9 ай бұрын
The New Territories were definitely really cool to explore, I would love to see more of them next time. Hopefully in the future we can hike up in the mountains and see the views from there. Haha, and definitely would prefer the dong ling cha to the Bacardi. Thanks for watching!

this is so cool, thank you for sharing Andrew. my last visit to my birth city was in 11/2019, in the midst of the protest. from where i stayed in Wan Chai, i can talk to the peak in 2 hrs. I filmed maybe the most amazing sunrise ever before i left. Cheers!

“Longan” (depending on the transliteration) means “Dragon Eye” in Chinese. The tree is very popular and widely grown for fruits in southern China known as Lingnan region. Those around that Castle Peak monastery should be of a different cultivar from those in farms around Southeast Asia countries such as Thailand. Longan available in the U.S. could more be, speculatively speaking, along the lineage of the Thai cultivars.
@AdventureArchives9 ай бұрын
Interesting, thanks for sharing! I would be it's a different cultivar, as it didn't taste nearly as sweet as the kinds you'd find in the store. It was still really cool finding them though. Thanks for watching!

Simply AMAZING! I enjoyed it very much. All of you guys made me chuckle a couple of times. Loved everything from the Buddhist temple hike to the late night Dim Sum. But my personal favorite was the night view of the entire city, it looked so futuristic. It kinda reminded me of Aku City from Samurai Jack. Anyways, very cool blog, looking forward to the next!
