It really was beautiful! The colors of the rocks and the water are so vibrant, I'll showcase them even more in the next video. And I did not jump this time around unfortunately, it just didn't work out - I'm already eager to go back and jump and kayak around. Thank you so much for the kind comment as always, enjoy your week my friends!

This’s a great video. What trail do you have to hike to get to the coves?
@WanderlustWellman2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! We took the trail from the "Little Beaver Lake Campground/Beaver Creek Parking Lot" leading to Lake Superior. Once you get to the lake, head left on the trail past Coves Campground. Idk the name of the trail, but if you look on Google Maps you should see what I'm talking about!

Did you fly there. If so what airport did you use. Thanks!

We did not fly here - we actually drove from Chicago. However, I believe that Marquette would be the closest airport

I have visited the up my whole life for 14 years so much has changed! Our family owns a cabin near munsing falls (Aka rich person street). I am unfortunately getting worried about that area I have seen the decay of the area and am worried about tourist over running the area as around 2020 tourism spiked and keeps rising that the locals and us are worried.
@WanderlustWellman8 ай бұрын
Thanks for sharing your own experience with the UP - I do hope that they preserve the area despite the tourism, because I also think it’s great that more people are getting to know the true beauty of Michigan

What hike is this?
@WanderlustWellman2 жыл бұрын
Idk if this hike has an exact name, but we started from Little Beaver Lake Campground. There is a trail that heads northwest and if you follow it, it will lead you to Twelve mile Beach and then the Coves area.

@@WanderlustWellman I can’t seem to find the coves anywhere on the map. Can you please tell me how to get there from the twelve mile beach?
