Spectacular views. Great footage. I was hitch hiking in Norway in, 1973. I wish I had known more about your stunningly beautiful country back then. I went all the way to the Nord Kap and it is truly one of the most beautiful countries in the world. So I relive the experience by watching all the people using drones etc. Thanks for posting.

I've been to Trollpicken and Preikestolen but this scenery was on a different level as what I've learned you need to hike for around 5 to 8 hours to go there each way. Its scary and I would never sit like that in the corner, there was recently reported a young girl student from Australia died instantly after she accidentally out balance and fell off the cliff. So if you want hiking adventure like this be responsible and always take care, you will never know accident 'till its too late.

Absolutely, you must always be a little careful in Norwegian mountains. There can sometimes happen things even experienced hikers - in Norway - have problems with. Like sudden storms, or maybe wind gusts while you are standing on an edge - things like this! Norway is probably far more dangerous than Switzerland, on average, when it comes to unpredictable winds and bad weather, and things like that. And Swizz mountains can sometimes be dangerous too. (With that said, we do have some calmer periods here as well)

As a Swiss person I can't grasp why you guys are hiking with SNEAKERS! 😳 Do you have a death wish? You're in the mountains, equip yourself accordingly!
@iriaheadland7128 жыл бұрын
I walked the Trolltunga hike in trainers too.. Why not? When I did it it was completely dry and my feet would have been in so much more pain if I had to walk those 23++ km in something other than comfortable trainers :)
@NateSummerCook8 жыл бұрын
Well, that's a very naive way of looking at it... Good mountain shoes have a better grip and they support your ankles if you stumble. And weather can change very quickly in the alps, better to be prepared. And soo many more reasons...
@evaldassasnauskas66448 жыл бұрын
in the alps? wut
@NateSummerCook8 жыл бұрын
Yeah in the alps... I'm from Switzerland... But I suppose it changes quickly in the Norwegian mountains as well...
@MrVemunds8 жыл бұрын
Good point, Nate, the Norwegian Red Cross and other volunteer organizations are called upon to rescue ill-equipped stranded hikers so frequently now, that they have started to turn down calls for rescue. What many foreign visitors do not realize is that it is a long and strenuous hike, and that weather conditions can change quickly.

Hey, I did the Trolltunga on 8 september 2016 in 9,5 hours. Adjusted my walking pace because I was with others, maybe I would have done it in 8/8,5 hours. No competitions though, It surely is the best and most amazing hike I've ever walked.
@thepablyko8 жыл бұрын

@thepablyko8 жыл бұрын
I did travel from bergen to odda the day before, 4 hours and then to oslo it was after the hiking so like 5-6 hours, and as armando just said, stay somewhere near odda the night before or it would be dangerous to start the hiking too late
