We're in Kootenay National Park here in Canada. It's a national park just southwest of Banff with some amazing hikes, one of them being the Stanley Glacier Trail. It's a beautiful trail all right!

Love the A/T shirt, especially since Jay arguably made the best thru hike videos of it. My favorite video so far from Jay in Canada.

Did you go into the cave? It looked like you went by it. There were 2 fires that went through the area. The Vermillion burn in 1968 and again in 2003.

Jay, thanks for all the videos. I can’t find the video where you talked about the camera you use for your “aerial” shots. The pole cam if you will. Please post the information. Thanks

I just put my GoPro on my tripod then held the tripod as high as I could. I don't think I could have held a heavy camera steady like that and the GoPro really stabilize the footage well.

Why did Tina think there weren’t grizzlies? When I looked it up it said there were grizzlies in that park.

We joked because we didn't see a single one until recently. We knew they were out there though.

I'm willing to bet that the First Come First Served does not get used as much because people WANT a reservation. They want to KNOW they have a place. So folks avoid the FCFS campgrounds. Great vid as always Jay.

Come July and August you have trouble getting a spot as reservations start. that said it's one of my favorite camp spots as it is quiet and you can access all the national parks from there. No services keeps most of the glampers away.
The Amazing Floe Lake. Just Wow.
