For those who don't have the patience for my hour long Glacier guides, this time I describe each of them, with maps etc in a minute or so.
The most popular trails are covered including my Favorite trail, Grinnell Glacier.
Another favorite is the spectacular Highline trail from Logan pass- the trail's long medium and short versions are described making it a great guide for hikers.
The moderate Iceberg Lake trail is a popular trail in Many Glacier as is the easy Bullhead Lake Trail.

just back from my 13K trip which concluded at glacier. 10 nights camping, Hikes everyday. I did both overlooks, both 17+ milers. The Highland opened late, but I got to do it at the end. Went to Canada for first time, and made it to two medicine. And already thinking about next year's trip!

The first day of our trip we are planning on leaving East Glacier and driving up to the city of Waterton for the day (we are not going on any hikes). We will have all of our "stuff" with us since we cannot check into our lodging back in Many Glacier until the middle of the afternoon. This means that we will have our bear spray packed in the car. Do you think we will have any problems at the Canadian Border with this? BTW: I have watched most of your videos in planning our trip to Glacier this year. Thank You for all of the Very useful information!!!

The used to take your bear spray at the border- it happened to me pre covid. i’m told they don’t any more as long as your bear spray is approved by Canada- what ever that means

Hey Steve, as always your content is fantastic. Wanted to pick your brain on the most comfortable way to go about some hikes. We want to do the Highline to Swiftcurrent Pass as you make it seem beautiful and we loved the Grinnell Glacier hike last year so we have to do it again. My only issue is im unsure which one to do day one and which to do day 3 to get my girlfriend to not kill me. What would you do?

thanks! If you haven't already I'd watch my full length versions of these hikes. I made a video with the Hikes of Many Glacier and both are included. As far as order goes- a lot depends on how good of shape you're both in and the weather and the ability to get to either trailhead. I like an easy day 1 to get used to the elevation etc. The highline to Many Glacier is 15 mile long without too much up but 2400 feet of down which as you know is rough in the feet and knees. To get parking at logan pass you'll have to be there by 7am! Or a shuttle slash red bus tour. There is little parking at the Grinnell Glacier trail lot so get there early too! It will help if your staying in Many Many Glacier and can walk from your room. GGT is my favorite trail and its lit better in the am. If you're in great shape you can make it up and back after the first wave have already come down. But the glacier will be in shadow. Again, the long form videos will hlp you
