Hiking up Stone Mountain and riding the Summit Skyride down Ep.38

How high is stone mountain and how far is it to the top? Did Junior go with us? On this weekend adventure we walk up the stone mountain hiking trail with our grandkids and see some great views of the mountains and the city of Atlanta. And you can also see the train as it makes it journey around the base of the mountain. We got a fantastic site with a beautiful view of the lake and the mountain on this trip at the campground. This park also has a visitor center and education building with lots of history about the park, which is great for those #fulltimerv families that do homeschooling. The campground at Stone Mountain borders Stone Mountain Lake and puts on some of the best holiday festivals that any #fulltimervliving family would want to visit. We still had to walk a mile to get back to the car, lol. But we knocked out two things with one trip. The hike and cable car in one trip.

Yes we were glad Junior didn't attempt it. With his medical issues he would of had to headed back down early. You are correct, the kids did sleep well!
