He really is a hoot! Mmmm, three wishes. 1) To be able to see my loved ones and friends whenever and as often as I want. 2) To live the rest of my life in a beautiful winter wonderland in the mountains. 3) To never have to worry about the money and stress of life. Yours?

Hi seth how r u how is ur dizziness
@bwelmhouse1
@bwelmhouse1 5 жыл бұрын
I'm still dizzy but not as much. I've gotten good at managing it and keeping the dizziness to a minimum. My past caloric test revealed that I had a malfunction on BOTH sides. Most people only have damage to one side and are better able to fully get rid of their dizziness. But because I don't have a good ear for my brain to use to compensate with, my being prone to dizziness is permanent. I'm compensated about 80-90%, which I can live with. No solid diagnosis, but the doctors believe the damage in both ears is the result of infections that lead to vestibular neuritis. It's rare for both ears to be affected. Lucky me! lol

Hi Simply Seth 🙂, i just found your videos because I’m dealing with 24/7 rocking/floating dizziness and imbalance (started 6months ago) . Doctors said its vestibular migraine... I just wanted to ask if your dizziness were similar to what i’m dealing with, and how did you get better? And how your dizziness improved from the beginning? On a scale 1-10? Im super desperate and depressed. I can’t live my life with this constant bobbing/rocking sensation. I have it even when I’m still or laying in bed. Thanks , and it gives me soo much hope that you got better!😘

@@8QQ8 What kinds of tests did the doctors do to arrive at that diagnosis? And also, what types of doctors have you been to? Have you been to any specialists? Problems like this can be hard to diagnose without certain tests and a detailed history. How did this start? Did it just start suddenly one day? Yes, my dizziness is the same symptoms. Rocking/floating/imbalance and motion intolerance. I'm usually between 75 and 95% recovered from the symptoms. I still have days once in a while where I feel back to only 50% recovered. I'm very prone to decompensation. But I'm so much better and can live a mostly normal life again. The remaining dizziness symptoms I have I'm so used to them, that they don't usually bother me too much anymore. It's when I have a really off day and my symptoms are worse than my new normal where it bothers me. But getting up and moving and doing a small suite of VRT exercises is like hitting a reset button and I get instant relief. The cause of my dizziness could be a whole lot different than yours, which means what you need to do to feel better could be different for you. The first thing you want to do is try to get a solid diagnosis. If it's just one doctor that told you vestibular migraine and it was just a general physician, you'll need to get more opinions and get some tests done. In my case I most likely have damage in both ears. Because my issue is bi-lateral, I probably won't ever get to 100% recovery of my symptoms. But by staying active, going hiking a lot, trying not to sit or be sedentary too long, doing my VRT exercises, all these things helped me get where I am now. While you wait to get more answers, you could start by being physically active if you're not already. If your condition will benefit from VRT exercises, then I suggest doing that ASAP. I suggest talking to a physical therapist and they'll get you on a program of VRT exercises tailored for your specific situation. But see some specialists and get some tests if you haven't yet.

Simply Seth , thank you for replying!:) i ve been to many doctors. I’ve been to an ENT, and soo many neurologists! Had MRI/MRA, blood work done. It started actually five years ago and then I felt imbalanced every now and then and two years ago it hit me and had it for 5months straight. And now since december. But now its on a whole different level. Never been this intense. Never felt it while lying in bed . And in the past it was definitely not this hardcore that it is now. So its pretty much episodic. When it hits me i feel like its coming out of the blue. Like someone pushes me and bammm, the fainty feeling and the imbalance creeps in. First now in december it started like it was in the past. I felt super out of it and imbalanced. Then while lying in bed i started to feel a droppig sensation. Every 3-5 minutes i felt like i m falling down off somewhere for a split second. Then the rocking came. And became constant. Since then the sensation itself have been changing. I think i had every kind of dizzy sensation possible except the room spinning one. Nowadays its more like a floating kind of dizziness . Or if i were in a car that speeds up with me. A pulling kind of sensation. When I am sitting i feel like im floating in the air and can fall off anytime. When Im walking/standing i feel drunk and imbalanced and very unstable... like my head is literally a balloon floating above my body... or if i were in space.. I have extreme head pressure almost everyday. Before all this started i wasn’t sick. Im hardly sick to be honest. The ENT said its not inner ear related as its not a spinning vertigo. Im being as active as i can. But it is very very hard with this feeling in my head. I have not even a minute of relief. Im scared it will never go away and i’ll have to live my life with this shit..:( Im also scared of those strong meds they give for people who have this condition... i had a very bad reaction to two meds already. So im terrified to try more. They usually give antidepressants , bets blockers and epilepsy pills for this . ( sorry for the crappy english, its not my first language)🤕

Seth..I know you suffer from chronic vestibular problems, general anxiety disorder and panic, have you ever experienced hissing in your ears and extremely sensitive hearing to talking or music???...let me know if you can....thanks
@bwelmhouse1
@bwelmhouse1 5 жыл бұрын
Hissing...kinda. I have mild tinnitus, but have my whole life. I'm not sure if it's abnormal. I hear ringing in my ears if there's almost no ambient sound in the room. But it's not overwhelming. I barely pay attention to it. I've not experienced the sensitive hearing though, unless I'm sick with a fever.
