When a man buys something with his own money his opinion is worth listening to as opposed to someone who is given something to try and promote a shop I have a the same scope on a 17hmr amazing bit of kit put a fishing coaster on the focus ring makes it a lot easier Hopefully in a new firmware update they will keep the range finder distance in the screen

Agreed as then it's not a paid for account of how good it is all the pro staff and youtube guys are paid to say what it's like some are honest don't get me wrong but some are not personally I thought it was a decent review I was trying with getting one for my 22-250 but stuck with the C50 as I think it's awesome at night can't touch the 4k for day but mines for foxes and all after dark not knocking it though as for the money it's a top bit of kit imo

My advice, for what it’s worth, and this was going to be given on a video I was asked to remove. IF YOURE HAPPY WITH THE SCOPE OUT OF THE BOX. DONT UPDATE IT 🫵

@predatorprotectionuk seem s odd to me but I suppose least you have a choice to update or not but if you have a scope that can be updated surley you would update it to keep it upto date assuming the update is an improvement too

Did you hit the restore icon after the downloading the upgrade then you will get the mag 3.5,4.5 and upwards. Mine was doing the same, in fact it threw a wobbly one night so I had to hit the restore button again and input the ballistic data again. Been ok since. Moonlight performance is good without ir.

the LRF box dont move, the ret moves round the LRF box when you zero. on multiple mine zoom 3.5-7.0-14.0 continueus 3.5-4.5-5.5-6.5 and on are you on firmwaer V5.5.110

What have you got the Crown Reg set at to shoot the FX Hybrid slugs please, are they fussy with the MV to group well ?

Also, I've got the Alpex lrf and the arken zulus lrf and personally I think the clarity of the zulus blows my alpex out of the water.

Indeed a heavy unit with a decent IR added ... Also with centre fire - even after chronographing home load speeds, I've had to increase the bullet speed massively to get near the target out to 300yrds 🤔 as I was too high otherwise .. which Elite Optical tell me is completely normal. Your ballistic coefficient data with fps data means you don't require pellet/bullet weight for hold over/under purposes

If you lower your scope height it brings in the zero better at longer distances whilst the closer zero stays the same

my scope was set 3.5 4.5 then started going to 7,5 did factory reset then lost funtion to change setting and had stuff on that was not there befor reset and ive not downloaded anything

update your firmware it solves the zoom to 1 click at a time

Bullet weight has no influence over BC, the weight is only useful if you are calculating energy

My lrf box goes off the screen after 7.5

Yeah mine did when I got it but after zeroing it the lrf box became much closer to the centre of reticule Got lucky I guess 🤷‍♂️
