Thanks for nice video of very beautiful Hikone castle. I went Hikone Higashi High school and you walked by it. The castle in the snow is very nice and different. We visited it about 8 years ago. I hope to see your video in spring with cherry blossom.

Thank you very much for your comment! There are surprisingly many examples of high schools being built on the grounds of castles. As far as I know, Himeji Castle is one of them. It may be difficult to visit during the cherry blossom season this year, but I hope to visit in the near future.

I visited Romania twice and my friend took me very beautiful places including Peles castle and fortified churches. I loved them and uploaded a few videos.
It's videos like yours that again, makes me miss Japan. Your presentation is very nice and I appreciate the details in the subtitles. I visited To-ji Temple, the grounds were spectacular, ..and a nearby castle, I believe it was Nijo-jo? ...amongst other destinations. In any way, I was enamored with the engineering of the stones and wood work. I so miss Japan and desire to return soon. Thank you for your presentations, they bring back fond memories.

Thanks for the comment! I am very happy to hear your very warm words. It's a great encouragement to me. I'm especially glad that you mentioned the details of the subtitles. I think the English subtitles explain the meaning, background, and history of the words in more detail than the Japanese subtitles. I'm really glad that someone noticed this point. Please keep looking forward to it. Thank you very much.
