I enabled the motion detection option, but my phone does not alert me when someone enters my motion area. I can only see the notification in IVMS-4200. but on my phone, I only get a notification when someone presses the doorbell. Did I set something up incorrectly? I really need motion detection.

can newer model be configured directly from browser or hikvision NVR without buying whole kit or indoor unit?

You can configure to stream to an NVR but the doorbell feature won't work, it will just be a CCTV camera at that point. It needs the indoor unit to answer the door bell.

@@sohail_irfan you need the indoor station. It's just the way it works. I tried using the outdoor 8113 just to the NVR and it only records. Door bell doesn't trigger.

I used the villa series 8113 in outdoor environment for a year now. No issues with waterproof or sound quality. You need the optional rain shield housing and it's fine.

The sound is good inho, certainly the mic is of good quality. People understand me veru well, was different with previous Bird doorbell.

Hello. I was hoping you could help me please. I have followed this video step by step 5 times now and even reset both devises back to factory settings. But i cannot get the DS-KV6113 to say 'The door is open' after i have enrolled the card that was supplied with the kit. it just beeps twice like it does in your video before the card is enrolled. DS-KV6113: Firmware V2.2.3 DS-KH6320: Firmware V2.1.2 IVMS-4200: Version 3.5.0.7 Do you have any idea why it would not be working?

I have got this working now. For some reason the access card that came with the DS-KIS603-P(B) kit will not work, however other access cards i got from ebay do work.

Thanks for your videos, the other one helpt me to install the DS-KIS603-P. Good quality and flexibel with the relays but de sd card in the monitor is pretty useless imho. I can 't see how to record e.g. motion detections on it, or am I missing something?

@@vincentsoon1755 In the end I bought a Synology NAS to record movements, it works but the doorbell is not in the supported cams list, so you have to do custom add.

There are relays on the monitor you can use for that purpose. I use a external doorbell and electrical doorlock with a seperate power supply and relay.
