In today's neo liberal society, applying moral relativism standards (what "I" say is morally right then that is "right"!) is in my opinion, detrimental to the good of society and children. My understanding is that gay marriage is considered a "disorder" in the context of the natural law.

@@declanburke861 How do you equate homosexuality to physical handicaps? Any reasonable person will agree that people of the same-sex can fall in love. Consensual love between adults cannot be an illness or anything objectively wrong. If you agree with that, then ask yourself why they shouldn't be given the right to get the benefits of a legal marriage that includes social security benefits, tax exemptions, partner's employment and insurance benefits and more? The fact that can't have biological children or the fact that this has not been a norm historically , isn't enough to deny them these rights.
