FYI : this heartwarming commercial has so many hidden messages, not only is about the human values, but about Thai's core values also. "Integrated farming" is one of the key projects by our late beloved King Rama 9. And the music near the end of the commercial has been written (music) by the King. It's called "Our Land". The lyrics is about cherish your land, take good care of it. The families, the community and the citizens are bonded together by our land and make it prosper "together". It really has a deeper meaning indeed.

I'm Canadian and my lovely wife is Thai. We have a farm in Isaan just outside of Kamalasai. After being in Thailand for over 7 years, I grew to respect and love The late king and the values he had. I was very sorry to see him go. Smart and compassionate man. My wife and I viewed His Royal Majesty in Bangkok after his passing and feel honored to have had that experience. I put much faith in his son and hope he does well for the wonderful Thai people. Especially those of the north east.

@@buckcheep What do you want in your life? Sometimes getting to live a quality life Have good food to eat And be with loved ones and happy together. Is enough. Wish you to live a happy life in Thailand.
@buckcheep6 жыл бұрын
@@one2callxxx Well said! That is exactly what I want out of life. Eat everyday with the ones I love and to see my neighbors and friends have the same in their lives. And good health for everyone. People are unhappy because they have to many expectations about life and what they feel life owes them. Life owes us nothing! As soon as you start looking at your neighbors house and wondering why it is bigger, or looking at your friends wife and wondering if you might like her more than your own wife, you are going to have an unhappy life. At the end of the day, All we really need is food and a place to get out of the rain. To be healthy and health for the ones we love. There is where happiness is. And the Thai people are really good at understanding that! Wish you a happy life too.

This commercial is special to Thais in a number of ways. 1. It gives our Northeastern brothers media exposure that is not common in Thailand in terms of equal representation 2. It highlights Thai community values that is very much alive in our society 3. It shows how although gender affects how people perceive us, our society does not use it as a means to judge 4. The song at the end pays homage to his late Majesty Rama IX, because what he wanted to see was a sustainable Thailand where no one would ever be hungry. I love my country. I love my King.

@Hoàng Nguyên I dont think anyone dares to bully him tho. He is quiet and has such a private life, but he can be brutal and scary if he want to. I think maybe that's why Rama9 chose him as a successor, to balance out the political power.
@jomontanee6 жыл бұрын
Hoang, you imagine too much. Just get a life.
@moet31216 жыл бұрын
@Hoàng Nguyên In my opinion, I think he did that for the good of the king himself. It used to be that the king alone picking the new one, then they switched to let the monk decide,and now it just coming back to the old way. The list that he presented is the candidate from Dhammayuttika nikaya(we got 2 nikayas) which is more strict ,and would serve him better political wise(I think). The members of these 2 nikayas are 10:1 in number. By letting the Drammayuttika (which is the minority)rule, would be the way to preserve them or it might get lost in the majority. Another reason would be that this would end the conflict that was happening in the monk community since the main candidate was founded out that he isn't suitable for the position. So by presenting him the list isn't bullying, but that would help him a lot because he wouldn't know who to choose.

I can see now that society is breaking the border (which is actually our traditional moral rules or our cultures) that hinders us from our rights and freedom. It teaches us to be sensitive towards both sides of the coin and not just relying on the rules that we grow up with. Now, I understand the lesson more and better because of this.

What a great video. I work in an industry that is inclusive and welcomes diversity. Over the years, I have leaned to look beyond a person's appearance and see talent and dedication that would not only help them grow as productive and efficient employees and make a significant positive impact to the industry as a whole.

❤❤❤😢😢 Oh my. I didn't expect that an ad would actually make me cry. As a person that took nearly 25 years to figure out I was queer and grew up in a remote rural area, this ad is so meaningful and wholesome 🎉🎉🎉
